The tacos are skippable, at least the carne enchilada and cecina versions I tried, both of which improved with the complex tableside green sauce. But the revelation here is the cemita. I tried carnitas, though the combined effect is more important than any particular main ingredient. It was a multi-textured flavor explosion that provided an intriguing contrast between hot and cold layers.

The best tacos north of Tlaxcala Having tried many of the taco places in and around Roosevelt ace, we keep coming back to Tacos Veloz There tacos are the real thing and get for lunch, dinner or a late night snack The tortillas are soft and delicious and ever different type of taco I have had is great — chorizo, chicken, carne asada, al pastor, etc

Food tastes good except that the oil has turned to lard! I can feel the lard all over my palate… Original Mexican food. It just came cold… And I’m not a fan of cold food– cold burrito. Small place not very hygienic, looks dirty outside and inside. They wrapped their utensils very tightly I almost can’t open it I asked my friend to open the tissue wrapping! Eat here only when very very hungry…

Carnitas burrito was saved by their delicious green hot sauce. My vegan girlfriend got a avacado salad, rice and beans. She picked out the cheese. We were nourished. The music is so loud, you can’t hear the T except between songs. I’m not a big fan of having the radio and the TV on. Walking along Broadway, we saw 2 more versions of this restaurant.
