Flame broiler is good, got it yesterday. The only thing is sometimes the food does not seem fresh. Bit usually pretty good

This flame broiler is a shame… I should have just asked for a refund… Chicken ended up very plain and hardly any rice compared to other locations. If I wanted PLAIN chicken and rice I could have made that at home for half the price. :/

I don’t usually like to give bad reviews but I have to put my input about this location!!! I was going to order a mini bowl w veggies when the cashier was very arrogant and rude! He didn’t even let me finish my sentence when he flat out said NO ! I replied w a no? And he said no again ! Wtf kind of customer service is this !!! I’m very disappointed ! The only reason I gave one star is because the food is good. But if you own a business, you Shoulf know customer service is important !

They never open in time is not dependable, when it says open at 1015 people shouldnt wait till 1025 because the owner decided to open late that day. Especially when theres alot of people outside in time of opening and he sees that he just ignores them and lets them wait 10 minutes more to open and the attitude he has is bad many times too. Edit 2÷25÷16 I am changing my rating to 4 stars because the owner is aware of the ratings and has been working hard to change the way he treats costumers and tries to be nicer and more attentive to the costumer so I hope this keeps up. I am not giving it 5 stars simply because its still never open on time always opens 10 or more minutes late.

I’m back and giving them two more star. The biker dude actually greeted with a smile. Not sure if he reads the reviews but what ever it is good for him. Also like the the new bigger deeper bowls, the food is not falling over the rim anymore:)

One of the best flame brood I have ever been too. Great service, friendly employees/owner. They do a gray job of moving the line and getting people out fast even when it’s packed. Beats waba any day.

Been coming here for years, owner always been cool, of course sometimes it gets busy and we’ll just nod heads at each other, but most of the time we have a conversation. Place is always clean, good food. Some people just need to relax and enjoy life, stop hating.

the best FB hands down! I’ve been to others, and they all leave the bowls with air. not this one. they stuff the hell out of those bowls, they put a rubber band on the lid so it wouldn’t pop off.(now they have bigger bowls.) everyone’s complaining about the owner, but he just seems like a regular guy operating his business… if you don’t like him, take your business elsewhere. but you’ll be disappointed.

The food is great hear! Like others say the are not stingy with their food! I have never had any problems with the cashier but I can see why everyone complains about him. He never smiles and just basically does his job. I mean it’s work, nobody’s gonna be happy so I understand how he feels! The only reason I don’t give it five stars is because it can be gross sometimes, that’s why I always get my food to go!

Very bad customer experience. The owner who is the cashier has a awful attitude. When I walked I was not acknowledged. I’m not special or anything but I wasn’t sure if he was ready to take my order. I usually give good reviews but I think this is unacceptable. Now I feel like I’m not gonna enjoy my food since he made me super upset. Will never be back!!! No wonder the place is so empty. DONOT come here! He has issues is obvious that the place isn’t doing good and he isn’t helping to encourage customers to come back. Bye!

I think the owner has been reading Unilocal… talk about a 360 degree attitude change! I always love Flame broiler, I don’t know what they put in the magic sauce but it surely is magic! This particular place’s serving is bigger than most Flame broiler, even the mini bowl is loaded with meat! I like how convenient this place is and that the service is fast… you can also call it in and pick it up to avoid waiting if you’re ordering to go… Keep up the attitude Mr. Not so grumpy anymore… looks like I’ll be a regular at this place :)

I would take a clean place and good food over a smile any day. The owner is a older gentlemen who is always there, so maybe he’s just tired. He’s not that bad and the food is great!!! You order your bowl and eat. People seriously are way to sensitive and judgmental. People are probably judging him on his looks, which is just wrong. He’s no ball of sunshine but I’m there for food and a clean place to eat, not to make friends.

FOOD: 4 stars Tastes healthy and they do pile your bowl to the brim, which I like. Most other flame broilers don’t pack it in as much as they do here. If you don’t care for service, then this is probably one of the better Flame Broilers I’ve been to. SERVICE: 2 stars The older gentleman who works there on lunch shifts is hit or miss. Sometimes he’s not too bad, other times he seems like he has something stuck up his ***. I’ve heard several others say the same thing so I know it’s not just me. Personally, I don’t have a problem with him which is why I keep coming to this place. But I know of others who vowed never to go again and will even drive to a farther Flame Broiler because of him. I feel bad because he’s the complete polar opposite of his son, who I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the few times he’s held down the fort for his dad. Super nice, super relaxed, super friendly. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen him around for a very long time.

I just have to say what a great place it was to eat at today. Edward was wonderful. He had a smile and was very up beat. While we were eating he asked if we need anything and made sure everyone was taking care of. While he was cleaning the tables he was singing and you could tell he like’s his job. Also, if you do eat there listen very carefully and you can here him play his guitar in the back. He plays very well.

Everyone hates on Ed… If you’re polite and don’t dick around, he’s a very nice guy. I eat here 4 – 5 times per week for lunch, both Ed and his son Eddie are awesome and professional. I have eaten at nearly every flame broiler I’ve passed driving around SoCal and their food is by far the best. Could be that it’s fresh because i’m always here at lunch and there’s high turnover but i digress… A bit like the soup Nazi, know what you want(menu isn’t that big, people) and listen for your order number and I think you’ll find the owner to be a nice guy. Ask 1500 questions about salad dressings and ask for extra white meat to be substituted for carrots and you’ll likely find him to be a business owner that doesn’t much care to deal with the ignorant general public. Can’t say i blame him.
