Strange city, random Mexican food, in a gas station. Only thanks to Unilocal did that combination work out in my favor!!! California burrito for me, three street tacos(tried three different meats) for my wife. All legit Mex, flavorful/yummy, no negative after-effects, all WINNERS! Boom! In a gas station with nowhere to sit, I can’t offer a full five stars, but aside from eating in my car – Perfect! Thanks Unilocalers!

I am never one to eat out of a gas station BUT I made an exception for some street tacos. They were absolutely amazing! The salsa was literally one of the best I’ve ever had. All 3 of them!!! Highly recommended!

It was ok. The service was super slow. The nachos were bland and the tacos were eh. Not worth it in my opinion.

If you can get past the part that you’re eating inside a gas station you’re going to enjoy your meal. The tacos are pretty bomb. I had a burrito but I was not a fan. Stick to the tacos. If you can’t fathom dining inside a gas station, then hit the drive thru.

Don’t let the reviews fool you… It’s not very good! All of the tacos were gross except the beef one. Quesadilla was ehh. Don’t waste your money!

The one and only time you will see me eating food from a gas station. These tacos are pretty tasty, price is good and the service is always with a smile.

I hate eating food from a gas station. But this is by far the best place for Mexican food!. .The food tasted like it was cooked from my grandmas kitchen! So fresh and delicious! It did take about 7 – 10 minutes but was worth the wait!

After reading the reviews, needing gas and being hungry… I decided to give The Hungry Taco a try. My typical go-to is a simple carnitas burrito, so I ordered that, along with a couple of carne asada street tacos. Although it’s not the best I’ve had, it’s pretty good for a local establishment working out of a gas station!!! They also have chicken tenders, and french frys.

While Miguel’s is always packed at lunch during the week this place’s drive-thru is rarely busy. I don’t know why either because the food ain’t bad at all! Street style tacos are good for a $ 1…also recommend the California Burrito.

Was definitely skeptical, but this is the real deal! I stop by every time I’m in town to get the hungry taco platter. I wish they would use a cheddar cheese on their rice and beans. Great hidden treasure!

I had the street taco and a fish taco. Both were delicious!!! The nachos with cheese wasn’t what I expected so I would pass on those next time but definitely don’t miss this little treasure

Keep seeing this place as I drive in from work. Reviews are great. Hole in the wall place inside a gas station… No harm In trying it. Well, after finally trying this place, I am hooked. I’m a taco fanatic and I love a easy drive thru type place. Food is packed hot on a ready to eat plate to go. Drive thru server is fast, friendly and courteous. I will definitely be returning. #tAsty

The carne asada street tacos were so good. The meat was juicy and not dry! Loved the green salsa as well. Will def be stopping by there again!

Just tried the Hungry taco. It was very good. The Carnitas Street Tacos I thought looked small but were stuffed with meat and plenty. The beans needed salt but I added that and they were fine. My husband had the Carne Asada Street Tacos. He thought they were tasty but a little dry. He would prefer tomato and lettuce so he will try the Crispy Taco next time that came with that. Took a little long in the drive thru – only one car ahead of us but took us 8 minutes til we left. Located behind(and inside) the 76 station.

I stopped in the other day to fuel up, and for the last week couldn’t forget the aroma that came from this little kitchen. Took me a week to make it back, and glad I did. Pastor tacos were the ticket. The Verde sauce is amazing and has a little hint of sweetness. Definitely going to come by again.

For a gas station, this place is pretty BOMB!!! Their carne asada burrito, carne asada tacos and carnitas tacos are bomb. The chicken is ok and the al pastor is ok as well. The rice and beans are also… BOMB! This little spot is better than some bigger Mexican restaurants I know in the area. Get over the fact that it’s at the gas station and stop in to try it. You will be satisfied.

Was a little skeptical about this place, there’s never any cars in the drive-thru and it just didn’t seem like a great place for a restaurant because it’s inside of a gas station… BUT…I stopped by and ordered a carne asada street taco… and it was amazing! Tasted so fresh, and the meat had a nice seasoned flavor to it. I love street tacos, and I’m always on the look out for a good taco spot, and the fact that this is a drive thru, well… I’ll be back most definitely!!! It’s especially convenient for me because I have a one year old, and it’s not always easy getting my kid in and out of a car seat just to get tacos, so I love that this place has a drive-thru lol! I hope this place is around for a while

They used to serve bomb ass Hawaiian food here but closed to open an actual sit down restaurant. The 76 gas station replaced it with The Hungry Taco. The street tacos are amazing! For a hole in the gas station spot, my wife and I will definitely be back. She said the Lengua here was a lot more moist and tasty then mine. lol.
