Starbucks

There was a long line when I arrived.
I ordered 4 drinks and they delivered my order to me in a timely manner, despite the workload they had.
This is a fast and hard working crew. Glad we have this on base. It’s so convenient.

First of all, Id like to commend ALL of the baristas at this particular starbucks. It’s not a normal store. It’s right by the pier and if you haven’t seen them in «action» during a homecoming celebration I strongly suggest that you do. They are rock stars! That being said, this particular review is about a awesome barista named Alex. He has gone above and beyond numerous times and is a shining example of the starbucks «5 ways of being». I was once a coffee master in Seattle and I wish I could give him 100 M.U.G awards, because he’d deserve them all. Thank you so much Alex for all of your help and for being so awesome!

Super friendly service and fast turnaround on orders. It’s nice to see the happy smiling faces first thing in the morning.

This is the only Starbucks near the place I work at and sometimes they’re good and then sometimes they’re horrible. I guess it depends on the time or the crew that is working behind the counter. I order the same drink every time and every time it tastes different, which is why I gave it a 2 star rating. There’s no consistency in the way that they make their drinks unless you’ve had the same crew working behind the counter. Some days my drink will be watered down and some days it will not even taste like the drink that I usually order. Also some days it seems that some of the crew doesn’t want to be there. When I go into a Starbucks, I expect peppiness and when you don’t get that from a Starbucks you kind of get that in your drinks. I don’t think I will waste my time or money at this location again because of the inconsistency in the drinks that I order.

Don’t let the long lines fool you — they are quick. In the mornings there are usually 15 people in line but you can still be in and out in 10 min. The staff is pretty friendly. This is an independent Starbucks also. They do take your Starbucks card but they have to manually enter it & they don’t have the fancy scanner. You still get your stars though. I don’t think you can redeem your free drinks here though.

This place has a secret menu. You have to ask for it, but it’s there.
Fruity pebbles, captain crunch, and cookie crisp are just a few of the delicious creations on the secret menu.

I don’t see why this store received some negative reviews as my experience here was great! A Starbucks located on base is exactly what I needed. The staff are friendly and after one visit, they remembered my order and name. I happened to spill a co-​workers drink in my car and when I went back in to order the espresso shot, they gave it to me for free.
Always fully stocked with your normal drinks and food menu items. I especially love the fact that it’s never busy. I’ve gone at 6AM-7:30AM and the line is never long. Plenty of parking and indoor seating for your convenience. ⁵⁄₅ stars for this location! =)

This Starbucks rocks

It’s a regular Starbucks on base… how nice… the manager is awesome, the staff is friendly. This place has long lines but they are fast. Private industry at its best, what a nice change… this is by far the best place to get coffee on North Island.

When they give military discounts I will give them props other wise eat it.
