Hooters

Horrible service! There were few other people in the restaurant and they had very slow service. The waitress kept forgetting our orders and messing up our orders, too. Their food was horrible, too. I think she forgot our orders and our food just sat there before she brought it out to us. She was running around like a headless chicken and it wasn’t even that busy. They need to retrain their waitress or just fire that one, IF she is the only one like that. But definitely won’t be going back. I went there twice and the food was not even warm and it was dry and flavorless.

Will not be ordering from them anymore. I chose to ordered 2 serving of fries and opened the box looks like I got 1 order. And it was really really salty. The wings were ok too. But like I said wont be ordering from them anymore. Will be going to another place in town.

not sure what happened to this place, they use to have nice looking girls and now the view sucks as well. most of the girls are to fat to be working in this place. hooters is suppose to have nice looking girls, just because you have the hooters does not mean you should qualify. especially when the rest of you looks like shit. short fat and blind. get some contacts I don’t want to see your big ass bifocals in my face or your fat stomach and flat ass. I will never go back to this place again no food is worth having to witness this level of horror!

I just worked a double today & getting off at work at 10 & wanting a good meal thinking it was Hooters but boy was I WRONG! the To go order was one lemon pepper boneless wing and a bbq boneless wing combo, but instead I received two lemon pepper combos. Expecting to be satisfied, I was just disappointed. I called and the girl said she couldn’t do anything about it because their kitchen was closed. the time before this, they messed up on my To go order. I didn’t come back for a while but now I will never be back again! why have a To go person when she doesn’t even check the order? thanks to your horrible service, I will be going to sleep hungry & frustrated! xoxo

I stopped in on Monday for all you can eat wings. The plAce was pretty empty. Emptier than normal. I attribute that to the opening of that other similarly themed franchise opening recently. We were seated immediately. It took our waitress a bit to get to us but in her defense she was running food and drinks to other tables. Chloe came and took our drink order and returned promptly. She then took our food order. She came back a few minutes later and chatted with my brother and I for a while before checking on our order. Of course my brother ordered Daytona wings which take the longest so it took a while for our food to get to us. Chloe threw in some fries while we waited because it was taking them a while considering the number of patrons that were there. Our wings came out and everything was pretty good. Chloe checked in with us often and took our additional orders. All in all, this was one of my more pleasant visits to this establishment. Our waitress was on point and I didn’t have any complaints about the food. I’m guessing they’re having to keep their act together to keep the competition at bay. I’m all for it if it means better service for customers.

I was there when it was announced that there was a city wide ecoli warning. The man next to me pointed it out to the bartender who passed it along to the manager. The bartender then came back and told us the manager said there was nothing she could do about it so she wasn’t going to do anything. They kept serving contaminated ice. I think the bartenders took it on them selves to not serve tap water but I’m sure water was used in the kitchen as always. I won’t ever be back to this store.

This review isn’t about the food. We all know what Hoooter’s food is like. You either like it or you don’t. But the service at this location is just horrible. I always sit at the bar. Two days ago I went in at about 4:30PM midweek. The place wasn’t busy. They were overstaffed but there wasn’t a bartender. After waiting about 10 minutes the bartender arrived and I was served. These ladies behind the bar act like they are doing you a favor by serving you. After my «Big Daddy» beer was served I was ignored as the bartenders talked to each other. I was never followed up with or asked if I wanted to eat. The wifi wasn’t working either. Even when the wifi is working its pretty horrible but this day, it didn’t work at all. I paid for my one beer and left. I won’t be back. BJ’s is just down the road and has a much better menu and much better service.

There is a reason Hooters is sliding to the likes of Twin Peaks and Tilted Kilt and its branding and lack of great service. Hooters is in need of major changes and this 1980’s look isn’t cutting it.
Now for the review on the Corpus location…
Walked in and thought it looked like most Hooters I had been to circa1988−1995 except the girls didn’t have big hair. The girls were very pretty but had an attitude. Then I remembered where I was.
I was asked if I would like a drink and asked for beer menu. There is a large selection of beers but nothing local just the same corporate crap most Hooters serve. I did not see the girl again for five minutes. See pics. There was a chat session going on behind the bar with no regard to the people waiting to put in their drink and food order. Meanwhile I looked around. The place is just dated like all Hooters are. It’s not this local fault but damn this is just a tired look and feel. Complete with 80s music even! Finally the young lady came back and I ordered a beer and asked for a menu. The beer (Abita Amber) was cold and refreshing (thus the one star) the menu hasn’t changed. Oh wait! The menu itself HAS changed and looks very campy almost cartoonish. I decided I’ll have my beer and move on. There are newer and better place to eat dinner in Corpus Christi. Let’s hope Twin Peaks comes to CC!

Had a good dinner. Service was good. The manager was really helpful. I would go back again. When I have more time to really enjoy my meal

Most definitely the worst one I have ever been to! Everything about the place sucked!!!

So far this Hooters absolutely sucks. There’s nothing worse than being ignored for nearly 20 minutes when you want a drink. Then my server Tyra has the audacity to say it’s my fault for not waiting for the hostess. Since when does Hooters have a hostess. And now after waiting nearly 30 minutes at this point they are out of the beer I want. Hopefully the food is good as I am now livid.

Can I give zero stars? This place is not good. I’ve been going here for a couple of years and its just gotten bad in recent months. One mishap were undercooked beef sliders. How can you undercook a patty thinner than paper? In another separate incident, my friend and I didn’t get our COLD food until an hour after we ordered it. And today, this wings place served me undercooked wings! How and why would you serve undercooked wings?! It still had red vein and blood on the bone! For a wings place, this place sucks. If you want wings in corpus, go to B&Js or make them yourself at home. Don’t bother stopping at this sausage fest of a restaurant.

The wings are hella good ! Not to packed, they have beer and they have a full bar there clothes are buy tow get one free ! I liked the fried pickles the only thing I didn’t like is that the workers a a little slow but it wasn’t that bad !

Whenever we take a road trip by motorcycle, we make it a point to stop at a Hooter’s for a meal. Yesterday we were in Corpus Christi, and went into the location on S.P.I.D.
As a group of friends we certainly make it a point to enjoy our time together, but our stop at Hooters made it a real challenge.
There were seventeen of us, and while they were able to set up a long table to seat us all together, that was the highlight of their customer service efforts.
We had one (yes, only one) waitress for the group. She started taking drink orders and about fifteen minutes later finally made it through to the other end of the table. That’s when she finally made it to turn in the drink orders.
This process only got worse when she finally began carrying out the water and tea glasses, clamped underneath an arm across her body. This is a very good indication of the complete absence of training, and/​or effective management.
Once she had finally gotten drinks to most of us, (I’m sure she thought All of Us), she began taking meal orders at one end of the table. We realized that the guy at the other end of the table hadn’t gotten his beer, so I let her know that he was still waiting. She looked up and said okay, then continued taking orders. I realized that her plan was to get them all done, before she would address the missing drink. At that point I asked her to please stop, and go get his drink, which she hesitantly did.
About an hour and a half after we were seated, a host came over to see if we needed anything and said that they were having problems in the kitchen. I explained some of our concerns, but would quickly realize that it had been a waste of time. Plates came out two or three at a time, and carried out in top of one another. Several meals were cold, and two orders of appetizers weren’t brought until after the meals, even though they had been ordered with the drinks.
So, to sum our visit up… one of our folks never got her meal, several of us ended up going to the bar for our own drinks (on a separate tab), and several people had incorrect bills. We also had to ignore the obvious poor safe food handling techniques used in carrying our food and drinks. We also had a friend celebrating his birthday, but we had to go remind the waitress, then wait while she rounded up others to participate in «embarrassing» him.
We never got any type of apologies or concerns from management, or even noticed anyone that looked like they might be in charge. I’m surprised that they can stay in business with this type of service practices.

Walked in and had absolutely no greeting. I picked the cleanest table which was a bit difficult. Sat waiting for 8 minutes before an actual waitress decided to help me. Right from the beginning I felt not-​welcomed. I was finally asked, «have you been helped?» My immediate thought was, «is this sarcasm?» 12 minutes now and I still have no menu. Each waitress walks around carefree as if they are wasting their time working today and would rather be at home. 15 minutes now and just got my beer and a menu… finally. Well (refreshing) the waitress was honest with me when she said they have celery but it has gone bad so they aren’t serving any today. I’m happy she told me but sucks that operations aren’t ran well enough to ensure fresh product is available. The wings needed more flavor so I added salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Fries were good. I would not come back and waste my time or money to get bad service and good again!

My friend insisted that hooters had the best wings, we walk in stand at the podium for a few minutes when a young lady tells us we can have a seat anywhere we like, we choose a seat next to the bar, very visible. After 25 minutes of watching girls walking up and down making sure to push up there blobs and pop there butt while talking to sleezy men we left. Wingless. While walking out the manager was flirting with Andre of the girls and not giving a damn about us willing to pay customers. Never again.

I am an ex hooter girl from San Antonio who always gets horrible service at every Hooters I visit while traveling, but this time I really had nothing bad to say. Our waitress was Jodi and she was really friendly and efficient. She really made my night. Thumbs up for Jodi!:)

Horrible service. 2 times brought out our food cold. Manager did not even check our food the second time they brought out our food. Not typical hooters sad. No do over!

It’s hooters. It’s everything you expect and more. Food is great and service is actually more than you would expect from someone who has accepted employment with the appropriate work attire.
Great place to catch a game with friends or the next hyped MMA fight.
