Awesome! As owners of a café in Ma, we give %1002 thumbs up to this place! Friendly, good vibes, artsy, delish coffee, yummy treats, and the best homemade Chai ice ever had! If you like cute beachy coffee shops, then go to this place!

The interior of this unassuming strip mall coffee shop is absolutely adorable. This is a great place to meet up with a friend/client or linger over a cup of coffee and the Internet. My only reason for 4 stars instead of five is because my Espresso drink was a bit weak/watery. I’m hoping this was just a new barista trying to learn the ropes, so I’m totally willing to go back and give it another shot(no pun intended). They do offer Chemex pour-overs, so that may be my strategy for next time.

Island Joes is such a gem! My wife and I live in Seattle(the land of a coffee shop on every corner…) but we travel to Corpus Christi a few times a year to visit family. We typically spend 5 – 6 days straight in Corpus and inevitably need to spend a few hours on our laptops at some point getting some work done. Island Joes has been such a great place to hang out and get some great coffee. They have a wide mix of quality offerings that many places don’t offer, such as Chemex and cold-brew on tap. Really good coffee(much better than Starbucks!) and friendly baristas, not to mention speedy wi-fi and great photos displayed all over by the owner make this a really enjoyable place to spend an hour or three.

A neat little local place. A coworker of mine suggested I check this place out so I decided to take my girl friend here for national coffee day. I ordered the white chocolate frappuccino and she ordered the caramel frappucinno. We noticed they both had a similar taste which was a little strange but it was good nonetheless. They also had cards and board games which was cool. It seems this place is known for their little art work on the wall because when I hear people talk about this place they say«the place with art work on the wall? Oh I know that place!» Over all we had a great time here. I would recommend this place for a casual date or just a chill place to chat over coffee with friends.

Fabulous! Drlicious, rich frappé. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, great vibes. My new must-stop-here-every-time on the island. You can’t skip this gem — come in and sit, relax, chat, play a game, read a book, chill. LOVEIT!

My go to spot! Hands down the best coffee shop in Corpus Christi. I’m hooked. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful and it’s a great place to go study or chill with friends. They offer all varieties of coffee as well as teas, smoothies and Italian sodas. They even make their own baked goods. From oatmeal bars to macaroons. Now even omelet brunches on Saturday and Sunday.

This is a nice clean store with great coffee and a small but decent selection of quality treats like bars and cookies. The management is very active in trying to make this shop as nice as it can be. I wish they had a expanded menu to include some more substantial breakfast items like sandwiches or tacos. WARNING: Unlike Starbucks this place brews their coffee extremely hot. I had an Americano that was still too hot to drink 20 minutes later.

Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. I got the Island Girl with a pump of vanilla per suggestion of the barista. She was very helpful in choosing my first drink at this shop. I had never been in before, as I live in the bluff but was directed to Joe’s by a coworker. Highly recommend for the great coffee alone, and the interesting décor and sweet staff is only icing on the cake.

What a charming coffee shop with friendly service and — best of all — great coffee! Our barista was so incredibly friendly, inviting us to ask any questions about their offerings and making suggestions, while also giving us some useful tips about the island and beach activities. My mocha was spot-on perfection and my kids loved their frozen mocha concoctions(chocolate whipped cream and chocolate drizzle? Yes please!). They tasted as good as they looked. The owner also stepped behind the counter and was equally friendly and down-to-earth, so I’m not sure what the heck the one-star review was even talking about(plus, I guess I’m too old to understand the Dawson’s Creek references, so there’s that.) Anyhoo, lots of love for this little gem of a coffee shop! We’ll be back!

Very cute and clean coffee place. Really enjoyed looking at the beach photo gallery. Comfy couches, tables, and big screen tv. My mexican vanilla latte was delicious. We met the owner and he is very friendly and considerate. We will be back for sure!

I’m not from the area, drove past Island Joe’s and thought I’d give it a try. I loved the atmosphere the second I walked in. They have pictures covering the walls from a local artist/photographer. They’re gorgeous! The barista/cook there was extremely friendly and helped us out on the menu. She also gave us a punch card — your 10th visit is free and you will then be entered in a drawing to win one of the large pieces of artwork. I had a hard time picking between their yummy sounding grilled cheeses and ended up picking the Sharky Joe and it was SO good. While waiting for your food/coffee there are several games to play to pass the time; battleship, sequence, checkers, and tons more. It was a little pricey but definitely worth it considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Can’t say enough positives about this place! Wish I had one in San Antonio and definitely going back tomorrow before I leave town. This will now be a must-stop whenever I’m in town.

This shop was the healthy child of Dawson’s creek and a pick pocket. While waiting for your drink you get to listen to Dawson’s creek chatter while paying for the most expensive smoothie of your life. The atmosphere was nice, very clean and calm but I was obviously not cool enough to be in this establishment. It was an alright experience but not worth it to return to this place.

Great atmosphere, friendly, family owned spot. Coffee is good and baristas are friendly. This is now the only coffee spot on the island.

Had the pleasure of enjoying this establishment approximately 2 weeks ago. First off, loved the decorum. They have wonderfully photographed photographs, wait what?!, in the brightly covered walls. The young staff was friendly & energetic. The mocha latte I had was devine. I believe in supporting our local business’, especially island business, and it’s great to have a coffee house on the island again. I recommend this business to family & friends.
