Fucking terrible. Do not go, worst service. Very disappointed with the staff here and the waiters handle customers. I was really looking forward for sushi and sat for 45 minutes waiting for our sushi rolls. I will not be returning. I had a horrible experience, I decided to take my gf for our anniversary and had a rude awakening.

Decent place, interesting atmosphere, but get ready to pay out the nose for your drink. I had an extra charge of $ 2.00 on the bill for ice! Now it may seem like this isn’t a big deal but that means the one pour of Glenlivet XV cost me a whopping $ 20. The food was alright after the nearly hour and a half wait. This could definitely be due to the outrageous amount of people there, so, again, no big deal. So to conclude: interesting atmosphere, ok food, ridiculous drink price.

Please visit this wonderful restaurant!!! The food is AMAZING, the drinks are AMAZING, the service is AMAZING, and just do yourself a favor and go. P. S. Ladies, in the women’s restroom; they have complementary products to use… Hairspray, body spray, mouthwash, lotion, tampons, bandaids, a clean hairbrush, etc. Seriously, the chef here is super nice, intelligent, an amazing foodie, and a great family man. :)

It takes a lot for a place to get 5 stars out of me. Every time we go, these guys shred it in food and service. The best sushi on the island, on the coastal bend, maybe even south Texas. Get a couple rolls and share for a great range of flavors. The roll combos are unique. Pairings may sound odd, just go for it. They know what they are doing. Be sure to ask your server for their favorites and for the ones off the menu. And you gotta try the goyza. They only play classic rock music and all the rolls are named in the spirit of the genre. As Vegas-y as it gets for the coast. Say hi if you see me there!

My Wife and I, being from the Bay Area in California were visiting Corpus Christi. We were in the mood for some Sushi, and being spoiled by all the great sushi back home did not expect to find such a gem! This establishment has some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten! Seared Wagyu appetizer blew me away, and the originality with their rolls was amazing! We gorged ourselves and could not reccomend this place more! If you want sushi in Corpus, THIS is the place to eat! I am not even going to try any other places. My go-to Corpus sushi spot!

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Traveling and working in the area for the last few months I think I’ve eaten almost everywhere in town. A few weeks back someone recommended I try Rock and Rolls Sushi and I’ve probably been 5x or so at this point. They have a lot of different and creative rolls that taste great, but do the classics and simple like yellowtail nigiri great also. My go to is the fried gyoza, Santana, and Led Zeppelin. Unlike most fried rolls that get big, sticky, etc the Santana is sliced thin with crispy outside and the right amount of rice. Bartenders and wait staff are great, lots of tv’s to catch the game on TV. Ask Bobby to make you a special drink. Not to be negative, but don’t waste your time with the other sushi joints in town. They are all lacking in a big way compared to Rock and Rolls.

I am not a sushi person but this place was delicious. Staff was great, knowledgable and courteous. Apps were all delicious(get the stuffed avocado, pork belly and chicken wings). You will not be disappointed. Also, the rolls were all good, chefs special was great. If you have enough room for dessert get the home made cheesecake(green tea or peanut butter). It’s fantastic! I cannot wait to Come back to Texas! Good work!

We just ate brunch here and WOW! The food is magnificent as well as the whole staff. The music volume is just right and if you have a problem, easy, grab one of the many awesome people working there and they will fix the issue. Trust me they care about the experience you have there and it shows through their work and food. Love this place!!!

This place is amazing. My girlfriend and I went out to eat here and the server I believe Lauren was her name went way out of her way for us and did a great job. The sushi here is phenomenal and if you want to try something really good try the quail egg tacos as appetizer. It has I believe goat cheese on them with a quail egg and some other stuff. This place has a sports bar atmosphere but High quality sushi and service. Cannot go wrong here.

This place was highly recommended to me… Thanks Amber! #winning The interior has a cool vibe, a cross between a Japanese restaurant and a bar with some rock and roll themes thrown in. Caitlyn was my server, and she was great, sweet, knowledgeable and attentive! The food was equally as great! I had the Wagyu Beef Tacos, they were topped with fried quail eggs… simply amazing! Next I had the steamed pork gyoza with the eel sauce, once again a home run. I also had the Stevie Ray Roll, very tasty but a little dry. When I’m in Corpus, I will definitely visit this place every time!

Awesome sushi! We had the twisted sister and the dark side of the moon roll. The dark side was my fave! Very fresh and tasty. The service was great, although our server came to the table a little bit too much to see if we wanted something else. Let me eat my food! We had an appetizer of wagyu beef that was superb. We had the green tea cheesecake for desert, but both of us thought it was good but not worth the $ 11 price tag.

Rock and Rolls Sushi has created what may be our favorite dish in Corpus Christi! We crave it, talk about it, and try to figure out when we can go back and have it again. The Wagyu Flank Tacos are incredible! The meat is perfectly charred and topped with goat cheese, cilantro, and a fried quail egg on a mini corn tortilla. The flavor and texture combination is unbeatable and the perfectly creamy yolk of the quail egg makes for a natural sauce that beats any sauce mankind could create as it mixes with the spices and creamy goat cheese. We’ve had some other pretty incredible dishes at Rock and Rolls Sushi, as well, and will blog those soon enough. For now, if you have not yet experienced the Wagyu Tacos, it should move to the top of your list of must-try dishes! We also had the Kajiki… pepper encrusted seared marlin… Melt in your mouth texture, super peppery, with a spicy hot sauce on the side. Perfect. Seared tuna salad. Not what we expected. The tuna is on point, nothing needed there. The cucumber is spiral sliced into only what I can explain as a chain like noodle, fun and creative. 1 tomato quartered. Light sesame oil, soy, and water from the cucumber seem to make up the sauce… The flavors are light, allowing the tuna to shine. One of the must delicate approaches to tuna we’ve had. We’ve also had several of the rolls and have enjoyed each one. Not too much sauce and the flavor and texture combinations are well constructed and thought out. Clearly those in charge of creating the dishes are relishing the creativity as it totally conveys in each dish we have had. Definitely a dish to make you drool! Check out our review on drooldish!

Rock and roll sushi lounge had a great ambience. Having classic rock music in the background, a statue of Elvis in the corner, and dim lighting was pretty fantastic. The menu was also an homage to the classics having rolls with names such as «the dark side of the moon», «the Led Zeppelin» and the like. Food was delicious with beautiful presentation. The only reason I did not give this place five stars is because it was a bit pricey and the portions were pretty small. This is great place for a date. The service was quick and servers were very polite. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys sushi!!!

Great atmosphere! Love the music, great ambiance and wait staff very attentive. Try the Stuffed Avocado, well made and good tasting. Three versions of edamame, tried the truffle oil, nice new bold flavor. Quite a little find on the island.

I don’t live in Corpus, but I come here often. The challenge has always been to find a great place to eat. Rock and Rolls is the first time, in a very long time, I can say that a restaurant is very good without have to add«for Corpus». The fish here was very fresh tasting and had the perfect texture. Although the menu has some strange names for their rolls, they are well made and tasted delicious. There is a very good«off the menu» item. An avocado stuffed with crawfish and served with spicy mayo. This is the best thing I had while we were here and I would order it every time. Service was very friendly and attentive. Be warned. This place is popular and there are very few parking spots. If you come at a busy time like dinner on Friday or Saturday, be prepared to park in the grass or along the shoulder of the main road. I saw a line of 5 cars waiting in line to turn into the parking lot. They were waiting for people to leave in order to pull in. Get here early if you don’t like to wait.

Great place! Loved the sushi. Had the fish tacos in special as well, amazing! Small tapas style fish tacos with perfectly fried snapper. Ambience is great! Very friendly staff and attentive. Good for families before 7:30 fun for date night and larger parties after. Looks like they took reservations so if ur going after 7, might want to make one. Only complaint was the music. Too loud overall… Was hard to have a conversation. Also, music choice was classic rock meets Elton John which is not exactly what I want when eating sushi.(I get that it’s called rock and roll sushi, but it was still too loud) Definitely coming back!
