Best breakfast tacos ever! Every time I’m in town I stop in for barbacoa and chorizo, egg, and cheese.

Customer service is dispicable, it took 20 minutes and 4 trips to get my drinks right and then my food was forgotten and then when I asked to speak to the manager, she was rude and didn’t want to do anything to compensate for the bad service THEN brought me the wrong food and would not remake it. Worst experience I’ve had in Corpus since moving 4 years ago. And the chicken looks like cheap mushy dog food.

Had the chicken enchilada special. Portion was great and food was seasoned well. Had the barbacoa take out from here before also extremely delicious.

Tacos are ok, not as good as they used to be. That’s all we’ve tried here. Maybe it was a bad day. The tortillas are homemade but they were mushy. The potato and egg tacos weren’t cooked the all through.

For the price there is much better in Corpus Christi so I’d say the value proposition is low. The food itself, I had enchiladas, is edible but nothing special. Service was prompt and food came out quick. The interior is sub-​par with ceiling tiles practically falling out. Would not return.

I love the carne guisada with cheese.

One day the food is great, the next day it’s lousy. I had Casadias and in the past they were good. This time they were dry and tasteless. I was very disappointed. I didn’t eat half of them.
It’s always overcrowded so she must be doing something right. Usually dirty tables everywhere. They have a couple good waiters, but they have a couple grumps too. I looked one time and there were 12 people in line to pay and they were there for a long time.
I parked around the side and the area around the dumpster is so rank I almost lost my appetite. Putrid. A good steam cleaning would do wonders, but that goes for the whole place.
I have to drive about 6 miles to get to this place and I pass a lot of Mexican places on the way. I think I’ll save gas and eat somewhere else.

If your looking for great tacos to go, this is the place. From the outside it looks like an old convenience store. Inside it is not much too rave about. Very run down place. Concrete floors and sagging ceiling tiles. Refrigerators along the wall. One small counter. The rest of the place is set up with tables and chairs. The breakfast tacos were good. I didn’t want try anything else. I just wanted to eat and get out. I’m sure there are better looking places then this.

Came here for breakfast on a weekend visit to Corpus Christi based on the recommendation of coworkers and the rating on Unilocal.Not a mistake! Great salsa, great chips, great guac, totally low-​key vibe full of locals getting their tortilla on late in the morning. I’ll be honest, we ate so much Mexican that weekend that I’ve forgotten what I had, but whatever J ordered came with a really tasty chalupa. And cheap! Would definitely go back.

Tacos are huge! Homemade tortillas. Carne guisada is the best I’ve tasted in awhile. Authentic food and sooo cheap!

i am giving this place 5 stars for breakfast and specifically bean and cheese breakfast tacos. 1^st time i went there was cause another place down the street didnt work out, so it was by default. had to wait a really long time, had bad service, but i got use to that living in austin a long time ago. so its all about the food when it comes down to it. i dont care that this place use to be a convenience store and that the fridges are still all lined up against the wall. thats character bro. i havnt lived in corpitos in some time, but i crave these tacos just like i crave jaliscos and elvas (RIP)
tip– order take out. even if you walk in, its really fast.

Although this place is a dump…(I work in the restaurant industry and can’t believe I eat here)…They have the best tortilla and breakfast tacos. I think i went nearly once a week for a year while still living in corpus. Now i am trying to find a substitute in san antonio close to ⁴¹⁰⁄₂₈₁.
