Ah mi amore you guys saved my reputation! Let’s just say I will ONLY eat at Italian Village for my Italian food fix when in Corsicana. It is an interesting building(which means they are environmentalists by up cycling a building that faces the wrong direction, the back of the building faces the street Lmao) but hey at least they know what homemade Italian food. If you are adventurous, ask the owner for something special. His language is from his homeland so pay attention and listen, his accent is as thick as his Sicilian pizza. I wish I had a menu with me to tell you everything I’ve tried, but here are some of my favorites Chicken Marsala, any pizza, I prefer regular crust cuz I can eat it faster, fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken, Greek salad, and Chicken Parmesan(picture Homer Simpson day dreaming with his tongue and drool hanging out. I love their fresh garlic bread that is served before your food comes out. I have GOTTO get to Corsicana ASAP, they have nice lunch specials too. When you go, tell him Valerie said hi! I spent a long time talking with him the last time I was there and feel ashamed because I never wrote a review. I live in Duncanville/Cedar Hill area, so, sadly I don’t get down there enough.

Love the calzone here. It’s like a huge pizza pocket. And I cannot finish it in one sitting, but that’s okay because it’s good warmed up the next day, too!

Absolutely fantastic. The pizzas are bigger and cheaper than somewhere like Pizza Huts while being more delicious with better ingredients and spices. The wait was not very long despite everything being cooked to order. Our server was incredible kind and helpful, even boxing up our leftovers for us. Everything was delicious. Rolls and salads are delivered promptly and real butter is on the table. Everyone in my family loves their food every time they come here.

Really good food. Friendly wait staff. Good atmosphere. The garlic butter bread alone is with the trip! If you are searching for good Italian food, give these guys a try!

My family and I have given this restaurant several times to redeem its self and has continued to disappoint us. The food is awful. It literally tastes like the crap you find in the frozen food section at the store. Every time I have gone there I am sick as a dog the next day. The cleanliness and service here is very poor.

Extremely disappointed in the owner for not standing behind their product or their staff. This is the second time that I have ordered to-go, the staff taking the order even repeats the order back to me, but they still manage to screw it up. I understand that mistakes happen and the first time I just let it go. The second time, they messed up I called the restaurant. The lady that took the order realized that she made a mistake and after 10 mins of being placed on hold and going to talk to the owner multiple times, the lady said that nothing can be done about the situation. I own a business too, and if the owner cannot stand behind the product or its staff, then it leaves little hope for success. Giving an excuse or ignoring the situation doesnt help either. I was told that a credit could not be applied to my credit card and I could not receive credit for my next order. Maybe the staff needs to be trained on the credit card machine if thats the case, because its pretty straight forward to issue a credit. I would have rather been told that the owner doesnt care rather than given an excuse like that. This restaurant has good food(when you get what you ordered and paid for), but the service and owner/management really need a gut check.

Two stars primarily for the service. The food was actually pretty good considering most of it was frozen but our waitress had an attitude and was not very knowledgeable or professional. There were six of us total and her tip would’ve been very good had she done an adequate job, but she didn’t even clear our table of dishes after we were finished and were visiting with our friends. She even dismissed us to another server with the wave of her hand and it was observed by us all.

They have the occasional off-day, but I usually have good experiences here. They’re pretty much the only true Italian place in town, but aren’t too busy, so you’ll get good attention from the staff and the wait for food isn’t long. As for the menu, I like their bread, garlic-artichoke dip and lobster ravioli. Also, their eggplant parmesan is probably the best I’ve ever had.

I would rate no stars if I could. My husband worked there before he left because of the unclean conditions and safety hazards forced him to quit. He said the cook would smoke and ash in the food. They were infested with roaches even though they did bomb they never would wipe down the counters afterward before they would start preparing the food where the poison had been sprayed. I could go on and on with horror stories. The point is stay clear of this place! Edit: Also 90% of their food is frozen prepackaged food. They only make the bread tomato sauce and salad… Baskim??? Claims to be the owner and«the only» person to run the place he has messaged me threatened me and called me a liar! Great customer service:(

Great Italian for the price and you can byob. Wonderful bread served as soon as you sit, and all is made to order as they will do substitutions easily. Great tiramisu!
