Keep saying it is only $ 50 a night. Stayed here since it was the closest hotel to the NHRA nationals in Ennis. Motel 6, right, Tom Bodet«leave the light on», so how bad can it be? Well, this is not the place for the faint of heart. Room was clean but the aesthetics need a lot of improving. Bad wall patches and the ceiling over the tub had seen better days. My room had an old tube TV. Remember those? Any way, I know now why it was $ 50 a night. But on a happy note, there was free hot coffee in the lobby. And it was fresh. So, $ 50 a night. Tom, if you’re listening, might want to put this one at the top of your list for your new updates you talk about on your commercials.

Oh my god. I have stayed all over the world, sometimes in tents in foreign lands because my country asked me to. But today I can honestly say to family, «I’m sorry». I would have rather put my family in a hut in Mogadishu than make them stay one more hour in this sh*thole. We looked for a cheap place to sleep for 6 hours while traveling. I will never be so cheap again. The room keys did not work and the clerk could not fix it. He said«just go to sleep». I think I’ve seen him before in Benghazi. The AC sounded like a baseball bat rolling through a metal garbage can, all night. Every fixture in this unit was either bent, warped, damaged or broken. The clerk said he couldn’t give us another room, because we took the last one. The parking lot appeared only about half full so I assumed the other rooms had been condemned. Don’t put your family through this. If you are trying to relive an old memory you had in a disgusting 3rd world hostel, well then this is your dive. Good luck.

My teenage son and I stayed here because we had to get in out of the rain. There were 3 choices of places to sleep at the exit. I chose Motel 6 because I thought it would be the cleanest of the 3. It was disgusting and filthy. First, I asked the girl at the desk for a non-smoking room. Our room stank of old cigarette smoke. There was an ashtray in the room. Also included in our room: electrical tape on the shower head, brown gunk on the bathroom floor, ripped carpet showing the cement underneath, a fly, a non-working light switch, a toilet with the back cover askew, and a RIPPEDOUTSMOKEDDETECTOR. Never, ever, ever stay here. I wish I had slept in my car. Or a ditch. Or the county jail.
