Damn you Instagram for my impulse shopping. I follow a bunch of workout, fashion and food bloggers. Lately I’ve been getting sucked into buying things I see on Instagram. The latest are these comfy dashing stripes pants from Lucy. I called the store and asked if they were in stock (size small) and they were. The lady who answered the phone was really nice. Ensured to me the pants will still be at the store the next day for me to check out. When I arrived at the store, the lady who answered the phone remembered me. She was really helpful and sweet. I usually don’t like to pay full price but I had to get these pants! They are so versatile, I wore them to work and dressed it up with some wedge heels and cute top.

The Lucy clothes I bought almost 2 years ago are still in great shape despite heavy usage. I purchased two pairs of ankle length boot cut pants and about 5 tops. The quality is amazing. I wash everything in the washing machine and air dry on a rack. Yes the clothes are expensive at purchase, but when you calculate the cost per wear, I am down to pennies. Stuff I buy at Athleta and Target lasts a few months before it falls apart and I boycott Lulumon due to their management’s anti-customer attitude (I have witnessed over exposed thin women, the heifer defense is bogus). Recently, I purchased new items which I absolutely love. Pants that end just below the knee, a cute pink jacket and flattering top. I LOVE Lucy!

After a really depressing trip to athleta store in mill valley with the worst customer service ever, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted kindly at Lucy by Sandy. She couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Everything you’d expect from a decent store with competent staff. I found a lot of stuff I liked including much on sale and am super happy with my purchases. I live in athletic wear and Lucy is one of my favorite brands. The fact that I have a store nearby where they treat customers well, will definitely be a reason to make this my first choice when I need new clothes.

Ok so I’ve been shopping on and off at Lucy for the past 4 years. Their prices are pretty steep but you can find pretty good deals on the sale racks. I’ve had average customer service here until today:
I placed an order online and need to return some items. Today I called the store here in Corte Madera to see if I can return these things to the store instead of doing it online. The woman answered the phone all chipper and friendly until I asked about returning the stuff in the store and her tone totally changed. WTF? It’s not like you work on commission with online orders so what’s the problem?!

I used to think that Lucy had the best work out clothes and was willing to pay a higher price for them. That was until I discovered Lululemon. All of my Lucy work out clothes have made it to the bottom of the must wear pile. They just aren’t as comfortable and seem to require a lot of adjusting and fiddling as I’m running. I have a couple of items that I wear to work and they’re comfy, light weight and breathable which I like. The customer service in this store isn’t anything remarkable, they answer questions and give you a little advice in between socializing with each other. At least I know that they are friendly!

I love this store. I encourage you to take a peek at their fall selection. Great styles and colors. Lucy is celebrating yoga month. The hatha pant is wonderful as is their wide selection of yoga mats. If you are looking for comfortable, durable and cute active wear, you will be pleased.

Really cute shop with nice and different athletic clothes. Their Yoga department has really useful Yoga clothes. They have as other reviewers have mentioned huge sales racks. One can shop here whether they are 20 15, or 60 like me and still find something wonderful and unique.
