We had a great experience with Marin Wood Restoration and Painting Co. In summer of 2015. Their estimate was fair; the job was completed immediately and I appreciated their personal service. They stained our deck and gate and they look beautiful. Their technique was more thorough than previous companies, and the outcome was better. I will use them again when we need more work.

Paul cleaned and refinished our wood shingle home about ⁴⁄₅ years ago. It was done with care and thoroughly. The stain used was a beautiful shade that enhanced the look and it remains faithful to this colour to this day, without any fade.
The price was right, the service punctual, the folk thoughtful and polite. Would strongly recommend.

During our master bath remodel we put in a new limestone floor but the grout used leached into the stone causing it to be blotchy which was unacceptable and looked horrible. My designer recommended Marin Stone Care who came out, determined the cause and came up with the solution to re-​hone the floors. They came out two days later, did the work and the floors look absolutely perfect! The price was reasonable, they came when they said they would, were professional and I can highly recommend these guys!

Instant gratification! After describing the etched stains on our bathroom limestone counter, Paul completely was able to provide the assistance I needed to confidently go ahead with the job. Milton was the friendly, experienced, careful and talented craftsman who came and renewed our double sink counter, re-​grouted and re-​caulked and left our bathrooms looking better than new! Absolutely recommend!

I cannot say enough positive comments about Marin Wood Restoration and Painting Co. This is a company with skill, integrity, and is extremely easy to work with. I had a challenging job because the redwood deck and the long stairway that goes around my house and down a steep hill — had been powerwashed 5 or so years ago by someone who had left grooves throughout the wood and made the deck somewhat unsightly. Paul, the owner, assured me that his company could repair and restore the wood to my satisfaction. Especially, commendable is Paul’s job forman, Romy, who is very knowledgeable and highly skilled (as is everyone on the crew.) Romy and the crew powerwashed the entire deck, rails, and, stairway, re-​set of the screws throughout the deck and stairway, sanded the wood to a smooth finish, and stained the wood with a beautiful redwood stain of their own special formula of TWP. In addition, they powerwashed the undersides of my upper decks — using ladders to reach up 40 – 50 off the ground. They did an excellent job at every step of the way. By the way, Paul was out of town, on vacation, during the first part of the job. Nonetheless, he personally maintained contact with me on a daily basis to ensure that the job was going exactly the way I wanted it to. In addition to restoring the redwood throughout my house, Paul’s company painted the entire back of my house — mostly on ladders, as it extended upwards of 40+ feet.
I couldn’t be more happy with this company and I highly recommend it to anyone with either a need for wood restoration of any kind and/​or painting!

Paul has an amazing crew that are punctual, curteous, talented and hardworking. The level of communication was better than I have ever experienced and his crew’s attention to detail from prepping to pressure washing and staining to clean-​up was top notch. I could not be happier with Marin Wood Restoration and would highly recommend their services.

Paul came out to look at our marble, granite, and limestone surfaces based on a local real estate agent’s recommendation. He was very honest and up front. He then gave us a very reasonable and comparable estimate to other local companies.
Then two very knowledgeable technicians came out with all of their heavy equipement and over a few days restored our stone floors, foyer entryway, outside marble stairs, granite counters, and marble shower space. They did alot of hands on work as well. We’d definitely have them come out and reseal our stone again.
