They have a 2 shower a week rule for patients! Meaning that even when a 300 lb middle Age menapausal woman who sweats all day long and before being injured showered 2x a day will be left 5 days without a shower and even when she begs for a shower, they leave her (my mother) to sit in her gross unhygienic sweat and even when she has a severe yeast infection and skin rashes and itching and acne and reactions to sweating and no showers to clear the pores, they still say, «sorry only 2 showers a week, its not your day! «I called and the only response I got was EVERY PATIENT ONLY GETS 2 SHOWERS! I said Id be willing to pay out of pocket to get my mother a freeking daily shower and The head nurse Jean Pierre actually verbally cut me off mid-​sentence over the phone and yelled over me that every patient gets two showers a week! There is a lot more disgusting and neglectful behavior that happens at this place. I could go on how they told my mom to wear a diaper even though she is continent. They left her to fall after she buzzed to be helped to the bathroom 6x over a period of 35 minutes. They leave patients sitting in a diaper filled with poop screaming that they want to change out of diaper for over 30 minutes! Its disgraceful! HHA’s an CNA’s are cheap labor that do showers and changing. I dont know if it’s a lazy factor, do the minimum attitude or if they are understaffed and quite frankly I don’t care! If you are younger than 80 and totally cognitive and with it and like to shower daily and be treated like a human being, find another place to go! Im transferring my mother tomorrow and am appalled and disgusted how they treated me over the phone and how they are treating my mother currently in the year 2013!
