Several times a year, I send my wife away by herself to have some quiet and get recharged. Normally I send her to the coast, but looked to the Corvallis area this time instead. Cara gave it rave reviews. She loved the bathroom with super-tall DOUBLE showerheads, heated tile floor, and all ABBA products and toiletries provided. The cottage had a large table in the kitchen area that was perfect for sprawling out her latest craft project, and the bedroom downstairs had an awesome, free-standing gas stove. They even had a couple super-plush bathrobes hanging in the closet. Bonus– after booking my reservation, Aaron, the owner, called me back and asked if my wife had any food allergies or preferences. I told him she is Gluten-Free. When Cara arrived just 2 hours later, she found a full loaf of gluten-free bread in the pantry, along with a dozen farm-fresh eggs from their own chickens, an assortment of juices, etc. The place was stocked. Basically, it’s set up so you can just come as you are and crash for the night or weekend with just a change of clothes a few food staples. Cara is eager for me to book her next getaway here.

This is a great place to stay if you are in town for a Beaver’s game, OSU event, visiting family and friends or just getting away to a quiet place to recharge. We use it for our out of town staff. It is a great alternative to the hotel room stuffiness. They have a stylish up to date downstairs bedroom and a comfy upstairs room equipped with large hd entertainment system, stove and view of pasture and forests. We would highly recommend it.
