Have eaten both lunch and dinner several times at Koriander and each time has been delicious. The lunch trays are an incredible deal — both the teriyaki chicken & spicy teriyaki chicken are the best I have ever tasted. Full of flavor, moist and addictive. Dinner is fun because of the special sides that are served along with the main course. Each one unique and savory. The seafood pancake is a great appetizer to share or enjoy as a main course. Both the Galbi and Bulgogi Beef are traditional Korean food and executed perfectly. The broth in the Dolsot Bibimbap is indescribably good. The majority of the clientele were Asian which I always see as a good sign when eating in an Asian restaurant.

4-stars for even being in Corvallis. Shocked to even find this place here. But makes sense since Corvallis should cater to the diverse student population. Service is nice, and the boss is a Korean dude, so you know there is a certain standard that is set. We had four dishes: 1) Spicy Pork hot plate — pretty decent. Definitely not as flavorful or deep as the Korean places you would find in Cali, but again, for being in C-town, pretty impressive. It does hit the spot. 2) Seafood Tofu Stew — FYI: spice can be made to order. We went ahead and got it less spicy. I enjoyed the broth, but it lacked seafood. Only one mussel, and maybe 2 shrimps at most. Toward the bottom of the bowl, you could tell there was the chili powder as it started to taste sandy. 3) Bibimbap: What one should judge a Korean place. Pretty decent. My family didn’t want the stone bowl, as they didn’t like the hardened rice. As such, the dish lacked the temperature hotness level, but overall minimal meat and mostly veggies. Good if you are looking for something«healthy.» 4) Bulgogi stir-fry udon: Nice wok-flavored udon noodles. Disappointed with the tiny amounts of actual bulgogi. Wah-wah. $ 45 total. Not too shabby for Corvallis. Again, actually probably 3 stars, but I give it 4 for being in Corvallis.

Koriander has decent food. For my shrimp udon, the broth was perfect — not too salty and not too sweet! They even included an egg in my soup, which is something that many restaurants leave out. Portion size was also very decent. However, the soup wasn’t perfect. My soup was scalding hot when I got it. I used up all the ice from my glass trying to cool the soup down. Even after all that melted ice, it was still too hot to drink directly from the bowl. The service could also use some improvement. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn’t full. It took around 10 minutes for me to receive my food.

This place was new to me. A friend recommended that we try it out. I’m so glad we did. I got the kimbab. It tasted really good. The service was prompt and helpful. I will definitely be going back!

So good! I will skip the gelato next time but the menu items are delicious. The lunch combo has very generous portions especially for the price. At dinner they give you some fun Korean appetizers.

This was the second time we’ve been there. The service is excellent and the food exquisite. They accommodated my wheat-free/dairy-free restrictions. The Spicy Chicken Teriyaki was excellent. The mung bean pie appetizer was crunchy and very tasty. The little free offerings of various Korean dishes was a delightful prelude. The atmosphere was laid back and collegiate. We will definitely be coming here again and again.

Took two of my adult children here for dinner and we loved it! Portions are large so there were to go boxes. Service was good. Parking pretty easy downtown on a weekday. FOOD was well prepared. My sons GF grew up with Korean grama and said it was like home cooking for her. WEWILLRETURN.

Yup! Little bit of a surprise right? Place is empty. Had the whole spot to myself most of the times I was there. Always delicious! You could probably order just about anything off the menu and it would be good, trust me. You have a beer, a little food, a little relaxation… The only thing that I was a little confused about was the gelato I never got it but it why not!

A great deal for lunch downtown Corvallis. Large servings and great fresh taste. Nice seating with windows and prompt service. We usually order the teriyaki chicken and love it!

Stopped here for lunch and wowza! Huge lunch portions! The teriyaki came with a delicious vegetable tempura, spectacular noodle side, and other little delicacies sprinkled about. Fast friendly service and a lovely typically Japanese austere interior.

We usually enjoy a trek to his cool place! A wide variety of menu options makes it fun! Odd and interesting Korean options, funky condiments, and a simple atmosphere! The service is pretty good, unless they are busy. Have had to wait, not horribly long, but long enough to hear our stomachs growing.

The good: food tastes average to good. The bad: portions are very small. Why are they so stingy with rice? Unlikely to frequent this place unless they increase their portions.

My tummy is still rejoicing in bliss that can only be found in a perfect plate of Salmon Sambal. I’m so glad I stumbled onto this diamond in the rough! Definitely stop by the next time you’re in the neighborhood!

The shrimp udong was perfect! Probably the best I’ve had in Corvallis. Great flavor, not too bland and not too salty! I just wish there would be more than two shrimps in it! The kimchee stew was interesting, it was our first time trying it. So I have nothing to compare it with. Prices are a little high, but I will come back to try other things.

Pros: Tastes like legit Korean Food Good food Cheap Nice service(free sides?!?) Italian Gelato Cons: Awkward interior(has weird feeling of emptiness) Others: Tastes better than most Korean Restaurants in Oregon.(finally a good ) Some of Fusion Cuisine such as Korean X Italian /Korean X Mexican are awesome. Owner is super nice(gave me free hot orange tea when I had cold) If you want legit Korean food, If you want good Korean food, If you want cheap Korean food, Koriander is your choice. Best Korean Food in Corvallis for sure.

I’ve eaten here twice. The first time I’d give 4 stars as I loved all the small sides I received. But they apparently only come with certain items which I asked about the second time but the waiter/owner didn’t obviously understand what I was asking. Café was clean and quiet both times. Food fresh. I’ll go again at some point, just not a favorite.
