Better service than the Monroe McMenamins and better location. Everyone is friendly and its a good step away from the college atmosphere and staff. As always the beer and whiskey selection is awesome and the staff is knowledgeable and able to direct any rookie McMenamins goer to find something to suit their palette.

In the place about once each week, usually at night after a rehearsal or just to meet friends for a drink. Delicious wine! Great happy hour menu(Cajun tots!), and pretty darned good service. Can’t give it 5 stars because there have been so many times the service was a bit slow, but darned close! It truly makes me happy when a fire is roaring in the fireplace.

5 stars for the voodoo wings! Never had a wing come even close to them. They are spicy and deep and yet don’t hammer your palate so much that you can’t taste their awesome flavor. Of course the happy hour Cajun tots are also great. Try a blended beer while you are at it! I love the Purpinator(purple haze and terminator).

We much prefer this location to campus for an intimate or outdoor dining experience. The service is hit or miss, depends on the night. Mostly open seating on the bar or dining room side. The Ruby beer is a great one! Cajun tater tots are also yummy. Best bet for prices is to hit happy hour.

Love this McMenamins! And I’m happy to see the High Pasta on the menu. I’ve eaten here since day one and was disappointed when they took it away. But now I’ll be a frequent diner. The staff is always friendly; our server, Adam, is great! It would be nice if the seating was a little more comfortable.

The food is good, but there are very few options. By that I mean there is a one-sided, one page menu that is primarily sandwiches with a few burgers tossed in and a couple salads. However, that’s not the issue I have with the place. The issue I have is that the service is TERRIBLE. Most of the servers are not very personable, and some of them are downright cold. More importantly, my friend and I went in there during a VERY slow time(there were about three other groups of 2 – 3 in there) and it took them 45 minutes to get my sandwich and her soup out of the kitchen!!!

Old standby… this was one of the only games in town several decades ago when starting up work in Corvallis for good microbrew and bar food. A bit run down, but still trucking and worth a visit!

Service was very friendly, and very hardworking. Staff is probably the best part of this place. Beer was ok. Food was pretty bad. Don’t get the sliders, I’m pretty sure they’re made with dog food. As with all their locations they are ridiculously over priced for what you end up getting.

Thick, untamed pizza and a wide selection of brews. Appetizers won’t let you down. Local favorite for a reason

Epic organic burgers here. I’m not big in the organic band wagon but these organic burgers are a must have. They are so amazingly fresh. They have deals everyday of the wk so I got the burger with egg and bacon on it and fries and a draft beer for $ 12.50! Fresh cut fries too with organic portland ketchup. Must try the house brewed coffee too!

Consistently the best service of all the Mcmens pubs. When you go to a Mcmens it’s to spend time with your friends and enjoy your down time. Food here is one of the best in the Mcmens universe.

I’m a fan of the McMenamin pubs and, as a passport holder, I’ve eaten at quite a few. Been to this one several times because it’s convenient, but never got truly good vibes. Tonight my ½ tuna sandwich came with a cup of African peanut soup that I could not eat. It tasted like gravy that hasn’t had enough flour added to properly incorporate the fat. Ok, we all miss a beat once in a while. But when I mentioned it to the waitress she acted as if I’d just told her something embarrassing. She simply said«Oh» and walked away. The lead host later came over and offered to replace it with a different side. Nice gesture and I accepted a salad. But when he cleared our table, he said that if I had asked for a sample before ordering he wouldn’t have to throw the soup out. Really, was that snarky comment necessary? We’re talking about a CUP of soup! Fortunately, there are other restaurants in town.

I’ve only been there maybe 3 times. I don’t know why I’ve gone back. Went there the other night and was so disappointed in the menu. Not much choices. I ordered a cup of soup which was yummy, the only reason I gave it 2 stars. I got a burger with cheese and bacon. So huge I could hardly get my mouth around it. And it didn’t have much flavor. Fries weren’t that great either. My soda was flat. My husband got pork sliders for an appetizers and he said the meat tasted like it was microwaved. He got a burger too, which he thought was just ‘ok’. And he had a beer. Our bill came out to $ 45, $ 50 with the tip. I would have enjoyed a Big Mac more and it would have been cheaper. The service was ok… but we had to ask for water and get my own straw for my drink. I won’t be going back again.

Ordered the Transylvania stockpot, it’s a bowl of Olympic provisions sliced sausage, cabbage sautéed in bacon & onions with polenta squares in a stew broth topped with dill sour cream, to die for! Not what I expected at all, so good. Caesar was not so great.

We ordered some happy hour food here, the fries were hot and were served a full basket, the best was the hummus plate which I enjoyed most. The service was excellent, the server kept checking on us and she was friendly and efficient, we were also happily greeted by the bar staff as we entered the Pub and leaving, very friendly staff. I also like the décor especially the signs its fun reading them while waiting for my food,(I like vintage signs) and I like the large fireplace –looks cozy on a cold day. I always like to come here and look forward to coming here again.

Food: I ordered their Wilbur’s Jumbo Deluxe burger with tater tots. I also had a couple of Hammerheads. The burger was pretty juicy, robust, and full of flavor. It definitely satisfied my burger craving. I also love places that serve tater tots. I always prefer them over fries. A couple of Hammerheads went well with the burger. Service: I had good service. She was quick and friendly even though she was working all of the tables inside by herself. Location: If the weather is nice, lots of people will opt to sit outside. It’s pretty dark inside.

I’ve always been a fan of the food and beer lists and McMenamin’s and this one didn’t disappoint. It’s by no means as modern as other Mcm’s in Oregon, but I like that; the chain is great about trying to keep the original charm and eclectic nature of the sites it buys, and this one is no exception. I had the Tuesday burger and brew special: burger was great(definitely hand molded, cooked exactly as asked), fries were good, staff was very attentive and helpful. A couple of the servers even offered some free sample flights to try some of the seasonal options which was a great service.
