They were hose-bitches, all bad. Don’t go there… for real!

I suppose it’s bad form to choose lodging that’s a third of the cost of some other 2 Star chains, and then find fault, but… … while our kitchenette unit was roomy and very clean, there were a couple of things you might want to know. Most significant, and the reason we probably won’t stay there again, you get about 3 minutes of hot water before it rapidly cools to tepid. It never gets COLD, but still, a hot shower and a clean quiet bed is kinda the minimum isn’t it? Staying with the water thing, the kitchen faucet spewed a coffee brown quart of cloudy liquid, leaving a fine delta of sand when it drained. It may have cleared rapidly, I didn’t watch, I didn’t care. Corvallis seems to have 2 levels of lodging: too expensive for what you get, and take it or leave it. Suit yourself.

Hotel was fine for the money(clean and comfy bed); problem was that the parking lot was shared with a restaurant, so it was crowded and there was a continual movement of cars. Came out one morning to a banged up door(hit and run) on the rental car. Washed out benefit of any savings…

Just stayed at the University Inn in Corvallis Oregon. The room was dirty and the wall unit was noisy. My biggest complaint was that the shower drizzled cold water. When I explained this at check out in the morning and asked for a 10% discount, the answer was too bad. I definitely recommend NOT staying there.

I reserved a room here in August for a stay in September. In August, my debit card was charged for a «no show». I had to prove to the staff that my reservation was still a month out and then had to teach their staff via phone on how to void the transaction to get my money back instead of waiting up to 5 business days for a refund. When we actually got here in September, they had NORECORD of me having a reservation with them at all! Then to make matters worse, because we wanted to pay with cash, they require a $ 200 deposit for a smelly, outdated room that has a bathroom a normal size adult can barely fit in! You have to sign a waiver for no smoking, proper«shower procedures», and pets, or you forfeit the deposit. I would NOT recommend this place! Stay at your own risk!

The pics online make it look a little dicey, but we were MORE than pleased! The location is right in downtown — easy walk to coffee places, great restaurants. The room was REALLY clean, the staff was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again!
