Vivacity Spirits

Passed through a few weeks ago while on vacation. Tiny little place. Almost missed the sign. Glad we didn’t. Chris (one of the owners) was holding down the fort. Really nice guy. Very chill and willing to answer all kinds of crazy questions from us. So… gotta say… these guys booze is really awesome. We tried all 5 and they were superb. Rising above all though was the Native Gin. Holy (deity of your choice) Almighty… this is the elixir of the Gods. I’ve never had a more unique Gin. This puts «botanicals» on a whole new level. If you want a dry and tight Gin, this is not the one for you. However, if you’re looking for something truly unique, a true «craft» experience, this Gin is for you. The nose and flavors are diverse, balanced, but off the charts in their intensity and deliciousness. On top of all that, Chris gave our sons and us an impromptu tour of his operation. Fascinating. If you’re in the neighborhood, I REALLY recommend you stop by. If you’re not, look for them in your local liquor store.

Awesome place! The owner/​employee is super helpful and knowledgeable. There are samples of all the spirits, and everything is made in-​house. Seriously the best vodka I have ever tasted. Highly recommend Vivacity.

We just met the owner of Vivacity Spirits at A.C. Gilbert’s Discovery Village After Dark– and I can say with confidence that Vivacity’s Native Oregon gin is one of the best gins I’ve ever had. Chris Neumann (the owner) promised us that the Vivacity vodka, gin, and Turkish coffee liqueur were liquors we could sip neat and he was right! Every one of them was delicious, particularly the Native Oregon gin. I was more than happy to buy a fifth of the Native gin for $ 30 (and I’m a poor student)!

I wanted to commend and thank Vivacity Fine Spirits. I helped plan a small event at the Lion’s Share Coffeehouse and Bakery in Independence, OR to celebrate the business’ 1 year anniversary. I contacted Vivacity about a month before the event to try and schedule a tasting for the celebration. I worked with Sam Bucks and he was fantastic. He was a joy to work with and was FANTASTIC the day of the event. He arrived on time, set up, and entertained the crowd all night long.

Absolutely fabulous Gin, ran into these guys at the recent Food and Wine show in Portland. We just finished the bottle we purchased at the event, and wished we had bought more than one! Too bad they don’t export to the Bay Area, guess we’ll be visiting Portland again soon!
