This place was great hubby had a Ruben which he loved. I had a burger which was great as well, older child had a chicken sandwich and holy crap it was a BIG piece of chicken and he said it was one of the best. Smaller children had the Mac and cheese which they really didn’t care much for since it was white cheese and very thick. So all in all it was great food and service.

I wouldn’t come back. The service was awful. The pretzel and beer cheese was not not good. They didn’t have any of their own beer. And the rest of our food was so so.

Well woth the drive from Louisville. Party of 4. Had fried pickles, great! Mac snd cheese balls good, but contained a cheese i was unfamiliar with. Two pizzas. 3 beers,(great and cold). 3 coffees very good. 1 bread pudding very good and a black forest cake. Also very good. Tuesday night is Trivia night getting a table was tough, Mondy night is free desert night. I call this place a good find. Will definitely go back.

Point Blank is one of the few reasons why I return to my hometown of Corydon; great food and beer! The beer list is extensive and decently priced. I generally get one of the various beers that they have of draft but I also have my favorites from the bottled list. They have well over 100 beers to choose from. The food is generally very good. You can’t go wrong with the wood fired pizza and the plethora of toppings they have to offer. The made from scratch jalapeño poppers and fried mushrooms are a good way to get the night started with a variety of other appetizers to pick from as well. The owner is usually hanging around and is always happy to answer questions about beer if you are having trouble deciding what to try or just want a good suggestion.

Things at Point Blank have come along nicely. They are brewing their own beer with good results. The taps are working well and the pours are what you would expect. Not too much head but just right. Food is consistent and good. I like the pizza and on Fridays seafood special, especially the fish tacos when they are on special. So go grab a beer!

We came to Corydon for a Father’s Day adventure… this was definitely an adventure. We are always on the look out for a new brewery to try so when I was planning our Corydon trip, this was a no brainer. When we walked in, the smell was not appealing. It was a mixture of dirt and cleaner. We were sat promptly and my husband and I ordered a flight to split, so we could sample the beer. Their flight was served in half filled rocks glasses and the brief explanation from the waitress was not helpful. The porter was ok, the ipa was drinkable, the other two tasted like cleaner. We decided to both go with bottles of some of our other favorites. Their pricing on their bottle beer is inexpensive, although my husband was disappointed to order a pint from the menu, to be given an 11.8 ounce bottle. The food was ok. We ordered our children a pizza to share, which they enjoyed. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband order the tenderloin. The manager delivered our food, and we asked if we had the correct food and he said yes. It took 3 trips to the kitchen to get my husband’s order correct and about three bites in, we realized that they had switched our order. Again, we love discovering new breweries and eating local, in new towns, however, our next trip to Corydon will not include visiting Point Blank brewery.

I work only a block away from here and try and come up every now and then for their extensive soups they have. However today my lunch was not restful as I watch the BUG extermination come by spraying while I waited for my food!

If you like good beer, an interesting menu and a friendly staff, you can’t miss with Point Blank. I spent the night with the staff including the owner Nathan. They just installed a water treatment system which will remove the Indiana Limestone taste from things(indeed the Indiana Hoosier Wiezer was a little challenging until Nathan suggested I infuse a shot of the Left hand Juju English Style Pale Ale which added a totally different element). If you are a homebrewer, keep walking past the restrooms and you’ll be in the home brew supply store – great selection of yeasts, hops(including locally grown hops) making is literally heaven on Earth for the beer lover. Dinner: I had the portobello sandwich which was great – not over powered by the garlic as often happens. Got to see the owner make a burger for one of the brew staff that should have come with an OSHA warning… handmade burger with sauce, a fried egg and onion rings. Holy moly – give that guy an AED!

Nothing else like this exists in the entire county. I can’t wait to go back this summer to go there again. The owner is very nice, and the bartender was great when I went in summer of 2014. Each appetizer and pizza I have tried was great. This is exactly what downtown Corydon has always needed.

The food is really good. The wings were the perfect spice, excellent pretzel and beer cheese, and the brick oven pizza was top notch. I cannot recommend their beers, get drafts of other taps. Their beer was flat and tasted kinder skunky. Service was great, good food, and good guest beers. Just don’t go hoping for a good microbrew.

Stopped in this place after a recommendation from the Corydon Vistor’s Center. I wasn’t disappointed. We had the cheesy bread as appetizer, and it was delicious. They have a pretty impressive beer selection, and I had a Belgian pale ale(Petrus) which was fantastic. For my entrée I had a tenderloin sandwich, and it was perfectly cooked. Lots of flavor. My hubs and I had a bit of pizza envy when we saw what the table across from us had ordered though, and when we make it back to Corydon we’ll be trying the pizza next time.

I love going to new breweries and trying new beers and food, sorry to say this was not one of those times. First the décor was ok at best this should have been the first sign but I ignored it. I went to the bar to try the beer first. The selection they have of other breweries beers is very impressive and I like most of them. When it came to there beers they only had 4 of them on draft at that time and with it being open for more than 3 years I would expect a larger selection. None of them were on the porter or stout spectrum and very unimpressive. If you want good beer go to what is in the cooler. The food is very good. Nothing on the menu really jumped out at me but I tried the wood fired pizza and it was pretty good. I really wanted to enjoyed my beer and it fell short.

Visited as part of our southern indiana brewery tour. Not worth the drive. The beer is worse than our first batches of homebrew. Came for 10 mins and left. Dont come for their beer. Maybe the food is worth it!

Food is pretty good. Solid thin crust pizza. They have wide ranging beer list, but their own brew needs some help. Really, I want to give them more stars — but they’re a brewery and their beer isn’t very good. I hope to return and improve my review!

We popped in for some«real food» before venturing to the ice cream parlor. This was about the only place serving lunch in the area. The atmosphere is a worn sports bar. I wanted to keep it a bit lighter(why did I even think to try that in a sports bar?), so I opted for the broccoli soup and ½ club sandwich. That’s not an uncommon order at places like Panera or McAlister’s(yes, chains) and I figured that this would be similar. Bad assumption. I didn’t even make it past one bite of the soup. It tasted like over-cooked, watery broccoli. Not even crackers helped. My companions had better luck with their choices — pizza and fried macaroni and cheese. I noticed later that almost everyone else had ordered pizza. Live and learn. So I’d give them a solid 4 for the pizza and macaroni appetizer, a 3 for the club, and a 1 for the soup.

I was spending the day at the library across the street and needed a sugar boost to get me through the afternoon. I hopped over to Point Blank Brewing Company to grab a quick nibble. The Coconut Cream Pie was delicious and the coffee was hot and fresh. The service was friendly and quick. The waitress even offered to pour me a cup of coffee to go.

So we were just passing thru on. 64 and saw this place in Unilocal. It was dinner time so we tried it out. LOVEDIT. We had the fish and chips. Hand battered and my onion rings were homemade also. If you think they can only fry, try a side of the green beans! Mom needs that for Thanksgiving. The beer list is Huge and Amanda took good care if us. Skip the fast food and check this place out.

What a great little place. Were were on a family trip to Corydon the first week of July ’12. I always try and find a local brewpub to try out, and they were fairly close to our hotel. They didn’t have the brewing ready(waiting on gov’t red tape) but they have a great selection of bottle beer, and carefully picked top end craft brews on tap. Food was good, but their mac-n-cheese is top of the charts. What is interesting is this isn’t even a feature item on their menu(at the time of our visit anyway) but it should be. If you like mac-n-cheese, you simply must order a side… regardless of what you’re eating for the main meal… just do it, you’ll thank me later(or not… but you’re probably say, wow, that guy was right.) Service was exceptionally friendly, even though we were out of towners, we were made to feel very welcome. The owner even made a point to stop at our table and thank us for coming out… it’s a nice gesture for what I hope will be a thriving business in Corydon. We will be back again!

Best Pizza in Corydon and extensive craft beer menu. Although I admit good pizza is hard to find in Corydon… The authentic brick oven, yes there is a real brick oven, is extremely good and at a bargain priced. Granted there was a lot growing pains organizing the menu and help with a soft opening but those seemed to fully resolved and should not distract from the fine food quality and beer selection. There is a relaxed pace that might put some off but that a bit of the charm. So summary, relaxed hometownish pace, best pizza in the city, and unmatched local craft beer list.
