Open Christmas day for a reasonable price. Wait staff could have done a better job at cleaning our finished plates off our table since that’s all they do. When I mentioned to The cashier about working on Christmas she ranted on about how horrible it was, how she works every day, and other such complaints about her job. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for many years and no one wants to hear your miserable shit. Food was as expected yet not as good as I remembered. They had problems with the rolls and that’s one reason we chose Ryan’s. The people let their kids run amuck and honestly had no sense on how to dress when going out. One girl wore an adult onesie with slippers. Maybe I’m just to old fashioned for being 43.

At one time in history, my family enjoyed eating here, BUT that has changed. Food was not good. Bathroom had cowpies in every toilet. I just held it in and went back into the dining room. It was a Sunday lunch. Maybe they were just having a bad employee work day.

Went to Ryan’s tonight. What happened to this place. The young manager I think was trying to do the right thing but the food quality has become really poor. Service is adequate but nothing special And people keep your stinking snotty hands kids under control. They do not need to be at the food and desert bars alone touching everything after they have been standing there picking their noses. Oh that goes for some of the adults too.

Nestled in the rolling hills of E Corydon Lake District, Ryan’s offers quality and value. Serving up unlimited portions of American fusion cuisine(one patron exclaimed: «they let you eat as much as you want!»), Ryan manages to be maintain class without being ostentatious. The retro décor, which could be described as Midwestern hipster chic, is ideal for a first date, a company holiday or a bar mitzvah. The waitstaff was attentive and graceful without nagging. The ribs were A+, though the ice cream was a miss. The pasta bar was clearly an homage to Mario Batalli, though they only had one kind if ragu. I’m sure we’ll back during our weeklong holiday in Corydon.

Food tasted ok but my girlfriend and I were both sick to our stomachs after.

Not bad. Full spectrum of fare offered from soul food to mexican to salad bar to steak/ham/roast carved on demand. Food ranged from delicious to decent. Most food was warm. Rolls were piping hot and delicious. For a family of four, paid about $ 45 at dinner time. We’d probably go again, but I think it would be a better value at lunch time, where the same meal would likely cost $ 35. Oh, and service was good. .. no drunken waitstaff observed.

Never have had a liquored up waitress. Food is «ok» has gotten better within the past year. I’d recommend giving it a try.

I love our little cordoned off segment of the world. I like my 100+ year old farmhouse. I like the fact that we can call the five plus acres out back ours. I love the little cemetery down the road with the wooden Jesus statue standing guard. I do not love the fact that the dining options here suck monkey balls. Our waitress brought with her the strong odor of day old alcohol and a nervous twitch. She did NOT bring water or flatware. I had to snag the flatware from an empty table. This is buffet style dining at it’s worst.
