Horrible! Waiter spilled a glass of water on my brother. Not one cent off. One person sushi came out fairly soon. 5 others saw no food for an hour. Finally I asked what was going on and was told chicken teriyaki takes time. Really we were there for 2 hours. Had reservations and they were not crowded. It wasn’t the Waiter he can’t serve food that the kitchen doesn’t have ready. My mussels were a like warm very salty mess. The chicken I was told was good after it took 90 minutes. Never go there again.

Had lunch here again(great deal — prix fixe @ $ 22) and had the rock shrimp app which was very good, followed by the tuna which was cooked perfectly medium rare. Others had the veg roll and salmon, which they all liked very much. Also a good selection of desserts. Don’t expect a huge plate of food — for me it was just right for lunch. Lunch during the week is not crowded so no noise and service was on-point. Overall a nice lunch experience and would definitely recommend for lunch.

Terrible service. Food is below average. Nothing good to say about this place. Must miss.

I’ve eaten here three times. Most of the items that I’ve tried were great; some were fantastic! The otoro tartare on crispy rice, a fairly new item on the menu, was a hit. It not only had the rich flavor from fatty tuna, but also the crunch from rice. Very interesting dish. On the other hand, the lava cake and napoleon were somewhat disappointing. Service can be spotty depending on when you go. I would personally avoid Friday & Saturday nights, even when the patio is open.

Food was 4 star, but service was barely 3. Starting with food, the ingredients were fresh and food tasted good. 4 of us came here and had: Kampachi Carpaccio(Special), Spicy Seafood Soup, Oyster Sample, Summer Roll, Salmon Specials, Chilean Seabass with BlackBean Source, Ginger Carrot Purée, Bread Puting and Napoleon. Most of the dishes were delicious, apart from when we asked one of the Salmon main course to be cooked as medium Rare, it came out as medium. And the Kampachi was very small, it was $ 20, but only 4 thin slices of fish were on the plate. What put this place from 4 stars to 3(I almost wanted to put 2 only, but my friends think I am being too harsh), was the the service was very slow. We had a table at the patio, there were about 6 — 7 tables in total. We were 2nd table arrived at the very early of the evening, but our main courses was the last one to be served. Between the starter and the main course, we waited between 40 — 50 minutes. I mean, the server was friendly, it probably was not his fault why they were so slow.

This place has potential unfortunately, they over cooked the Chilean Sea Bass and grilled octopus. Flavors are on point for majority of the food.

I’m am just writing this to let you know how pleasantly surprised I was at this establishment. First off let me start by saying Marta was wonderful. She was prompt, pleasant and so genuinely sweet. The food was also amazing and came out very fast. My boyfriend and I were thoroughly impressed. So, I just wanted to say thank you for the great service and food.

Fresh oysters, the mussel app was great as was the crispy spring rolls. The fish on the main was fresh and delicious but was a little disappointed on the mixed vegetables it came with it felt like I was at home.

This location has seen so many restaurants, that I was hoping that someone amazing would take the spot to attract people to this non-central location of Greenwich. The food was good, and the staff was nice. It’s new, so I expect it to improve, and I hope it is gets good enough to pull people from Greenwich Ave and other locations around town.

Well prepared food, high quality. Not a value type of place. But for the ZIP code it fits in. Would not go there as a one off drive by. If you are a regular though things improve at least one star.

Very good food but at a steep price. Almost 5 stars. FOOD Lobster Roll: A little plain, one of the less remarkable things I ate there. Toro: I believe this was a special rather than the normal toro on the menu. It was great. The toro was prepared with a bit of sauce and served on slightly crisped rice(blow torch?). Crispy Duck: This was some seriously tasty duck. I thought the outside could of been a touch crispier though. If all vegetables tasted like the carrot ginger purée it was served with, I would never have a problem getting my daily three servings. Scallops: Good, sweet, not over-cooked. Kobe Beef: Well seasoned and nicely cook. Nothing was wrong with it, but at $ 90 a serving, I’ll skip next time. Chocolate Truffle: Was basically just chocolate and vanilla ice cream presented in a fancy way. A bit bland. Salted Caramel Gelato: Awesome. Feed me more now! Pistachio Gelato: Also good. Very nice pistachio flavor. My friends said the fish was excellent also. Drinks: My Modern Manhattan was good as was the wine I had.(An unfiltered Chardonnay.) SCENE The space is open, bright, and modern. Its not particularly fancy. Some tables were rather close together but there weren’t many people when we were there and it was quite. SERVICE Everyone was nice and helpful, but they were a bit aggressive with the up-selling.

Attentive, knowledgeable waitstaff, really great food, fresh oysters. I always get the Seafood Risotto because it’s that good.

Worst place I’ve been to in a long time. The service was awful — extremely slow given there were a total of 4 other tables in the whole restaurant and the attention to detail was terrible from the get go. No bread until a long while, didn’t take our menus off our table after we ordered, dirty water glasses that had to be changed. To make matters worse, the waiter spilled our wine all over my father in laws lap as he was asking if we wanted pepper on his meal — a newly poured glass that was very full — and they didn’t even bother to at least comp us a glass, an app, give us a dessert or even apologize for wasting the wine we paid too much for and making us wet and uncomfortable the rest of the night. Our bill was 340 on 4 people and we left hungry. Portions are small and food just medicore. I will never eat here again. Don’t waste your time or money.

Excellent Friday night with my honey here last week. I live in the city and my man lives in Greenwich, he definitely needs to tempt me with something to get me on that Metro North Train on a Friday afternoon and the promise of great wining and dining usually does the trick. I made an 8:30 reservation but caught an earlier train so we showed up around 8:00, no problem, they had a table for us outside. The service is very friendly. We decided to start with some cocktails which in retrospect wasn’t the best idea, I wish we would have just ordered a bottle of wine as they do have a pretty decent list with reasonable mark-ups, I’m looking at you Cloudy Bay. I used to be a Manhattan girl but I’ve been off the brown stuff lately so I went with a vodka drink with cucumber and mint that sounded refreshing but was just plain bland. My date went with their version of a Manhattan and wowie did it pack a punch. We started with the oyster sampler, 2 of each of the 3 choices of the day and they were all super fresh and fabulous. For our appetizers and mains we went with the specials, soft shell crab for the app and red snapper for the main. The soft shell crap was great if a bit heavy on the breading and the avocado bed it was served on had a nice kick. The red snapper was perfectly cooked and was a light clean dish. We ordered a side of the cauliflower purée which was reminisent of whipped potatoes… yum. We split all that and it was the perfect amount of food for us. The night was relaxing and enjoyable, just what a Friday night out of the city should be.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night and it was fantastic! Everything was delicious! We started with the oyster trio; the Fisher Island oysters were the best I’ve ever had! Very smooth, just a hint of salt. For an appetizer, I had the tuna tartare and my husband had the toro tuna special on crispy rice. Both were superb! I loved the crostini that came with the tartare. My husband really enjoyed the crispy rice. I ordered off the menu for my entrée, I had the chilean sea bass which was so smooth and had a delicious glaze. My husband had the skate special which was also fantastic! The wait staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. They have a cute outdoor section that I look forward to sitting in when the weather gets warmer. There are so many more items on the menu I look forward to trying! I can’t wait to go back! You won’t be disappointed at Coast!

Had several very nice meals when this restaurant was called Nuage, and a dreadful one recently. Half the entrees were served lukewarm. A burger ordered medium was rare/raw. The hostess seemed overwhelmed and clueless. Some of the portions(appetizer sashimi) were laughably small. The Caesar salad was the worst I have ever had, including many airport versions. No anchovies. Parmesan cheese that tasted like cardboard. A squirt of odd-looking mayonnaise, which tasted nothing like a classic Caesar dressing. A travesty(as these things go.) When my husband mentioned to our server, who is also the manager, how unhappy we were, he didn’t apologize or remove the improperly cooked burger from the bill. Never again.

Nuage, now called Coast, never ceases to excite. The food is always delectable and the staff is always friendly. I have the rock shrimp for an appetizer and let me tell you, it’s some of the best shrimp I’ve ever eaten. The I have the filet or the chicken teriyaki(which they will always make for you). Either of those are solid choices. Overall, the atmosphere is cozy and personal. I would 100% recommend this restaurant

Never again! We were sat at 745 waited 30 minutes for our drinks. At 10pm we still had no entrée. Waiters disappeared into kitchen no where to be found. Manager was rude with no explanation we were not alone, a few other people who also waited as long as we did walked out also shortly before we did. We walked out…

Nice little place, very quiet for an early lunch. Very nicely appointed, excellent service. The lunch prix fixe menu was an option and the choices were nice. I had the lobster and asparagus soup and the tuna steak. Excellent portions, great flavors. Definitely recommend!
