We have been to this Swizzles store a lot because of its vicinity to school and my neighborhood. Our latest experience there was awful. I took my two kids there the day after thanksgiving. After my kids made their yogurt choices, they gave the cashier girl their Swizzles gift cards to pay for the purchase. The machine could not read either of the two cards. Weird things then happened from this point on. First we were first told the cashier girl they were NOT gift cards. I told her I was 100% sure they were valid gift cards, there are still a good balance on the cards, and my kids had used them in the store before. One of the two cards had a mild scratch on the magnetic stripe; the other card looked perfectly scratch-less. But neither went through. «The card can’t be used, you scratched it». «If you want to use it, don’t scratch it.» Sensing she is probably new to the job, I pointed out the #s on the back of the cards and asked her if she could try the #s. «I can’t. There is nowhere for me to type.» After I paid with my credit card, I asked for her name and her manager’s phone number, her attitude turned immediately offensive, raised her voice and used accusatory words in front of my young kids. I was embarrassed. We have bought multiple Swizzles gift cards for teachers and birthday gifts in the past and recommended Swizzles to other parents. After this regrettable trip, not anymore. I only can say buying Swizzles gift card is at your own risk.

What a pleasant surprise this place was! They sell frozen yogurt and toppings by the weight, so really only get what you think you will eat. They have classic flavors like vanilla and chocolate but also ones like coconut and pineapple(which are really good by the way). Simple, delicious way to cool down on a hot day.

Continuing on my un-official fro-yo tour: D. I’ve made three trips each time I’ve been in the area. The original, and their pomegranate have been available each time I’ve been there. Really, really good. On this latest visit last evening, the shopperson invited me to try their new flavor, strawberry lemonade sorbet. I’m pleased to stick with the pom swirl. The new flavor was far too sweet-tart for my taste. Good job otherwise.
