We stayed one night in one of the regular rooms. It was really lovely. The room was located on the 2nd floor and tucked away at the end. The queen size bed was comfortable. There was also a futon couch to sit on. The rest of the furnishings appeared to be antiques. The décor was old fashioned and quaint. In addition to the wall AC which seemed to be new, there was also a stand up fan.(We came on the hottest weekend of the year.) The bathroom was nearly as big as the bedroom area. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of banana nut pancakes, fried ham, a bowl of freshly sliced nectarines, orange juice, and coffee. Two other couples were there and all enjoyed the inn. Curt was a pleasant host. We would definitely come back.

We were traveling home from Niagra Falls, and while perusing the internet for a small town in Ohio to stay, I happened upon what looked to be a little gem. The pictures on the internet depict a CLEANANDMETICULOUSLYMANICURED little Bed and Breakfast Inn, in the quaint town of Roscoe Village, Ohio. Upon our arrival, we nearly passed it up because it was so overgrown, in terrible need of paint, cleaning on the outside, etc. My husband went up to the door and we were finally greeted by the Host, Curt Rouso, who seemed friendly. He pointed us in the direction, and we pulled up to the carriage house, it was so overgrown with foilage, you could barely see the door. Upon reaching the door, we did see black spiders crawling all over the door. My husband brushed them away and we entered. The room was dark, dreary and we finally found the lights and decided to just use the restroom and go into the city. Well, the city was also a disappointment as most of the businesses were closed at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. We did however find a nice little coffee/wine café and had a drink and a cheese plate. The bartender was a very nice man and we enjoyed some bantering with him. He told us to go into the city of Coshocton that night as they were having their 1st Friday festivities. We decided to give that a try and went back up to our room to get ready. Upon re-entering the room, we had the fan on and turned on the air-conditioner and the room filled with a very musty smell. I, being a person that suffers from terrible allergies, knew that we would never be able to stay and then, the crowning blow came as I went into the bathroom and black ants were crawling up the wall! My husband went up to Curt and informed him this place was not going to work out for us. He did not want to hurt his feelings and offered to pay him $ 50.00 for any trouble as we had used the bathroom. Curt informed him that he would be charging us $ 140.00! My husband said that he quoted us $ 125.00, and Curt said that was if we stayed two nights, which was never the agreement. I told him one night and he quoted me $ 125.00. I returned home and sure enough, he had charged us $ 140.00 on our credit card. He advertises that he does business with church groups I think to instill a sense of honesty in him and his establishment! It is nothing as it appears!!! Stay away from this place and save yourself any heartache and overcharges that you may incur!!!
