Nothing sounds better then organically grown veggies and fruits. What could be better then weekly delivery of fresh food. Promised by Blossom Acres CSA, unfortunately, not delivered. How could that be? Simple. First is the season fee of nearly 600 dollars. A bargain if organic is the goal. The season went from May to October. Portions promised were for a family of four. We are a family of two. There was never enough for two. In actuality, produce was frequently of poor quality(harvested early, ridden with varmint holes, wilted, rotted). Variety was limited to mostly«greens». I threw away more then I ate. I did attempt to «work» with the owner to no avail. Our last conversation included a promise«to do the right thing» That was several weeks ago. The right thing for me to do is use my dollars at a reputable supplier of organics. I thought organic and Amish meant quality, honesty, and pride. Not so.
