Mothers day had the restaurant very busy, with no reservations were were seated within 10 minutes. Then after a wait Phil our waiter arrived. Took our drink order, and we waited a while for him to deliver, we placed our order, I was specific of the fish sandwich that I wanted. after a while our food was delivered by someone else, my wife’s came our perfect, but mine was a open broiled fish, not what I had ordered, I told the server what I ordered he went back and later Phil delivered the correct sandwich, when Phil dropped off the bill it was for the open sandwich, he apologized and corrected the bill, all in all was good food, will come back again

Not really a «steakhouse” — we had to look for the steaks on the menu! More like bar type food– too varied a menu. Atmosphere was nice though.

Stayed at a cabin in Warsaw, and came here for dinner. Was greeted at the door by the owner, who was very very friendly. Then our waitress was also super friendly! Had the legendary onion rings and they were great. Our dinners were all perfect. For nothing really being around, this place deserves a lot more then what people are saying on here. Definitely will be back!

When I’m in Coshocton on business there are perhaps four good restaurants. We pretty much alternate these four night after night over a couple weeks time. The good: They have a pretty good beer selection. The fish fry is good. Burgers are good. Steak is meh — not great quality but the flavor is good. Sandwiches are good. The bad: Seafood was horrible. cold scallops, cold shrimp, rubbery stuff on a seafood platter. In general, stay away from the more«fancy» or complex items… this place does the basics well and when I’ve strayed from the defacto«good» items I’ve been sorry. As others have posted, in general service is pretty slow. If you are in a hurry I’d advise you try another place.

First time here I was looking for just a nice place to have a dinner with my boyfriend. The food was pretty good but the service was less than acceptable. I felt like we were a major inconvenience to our waitress who never once smiled and only stopped by when absolutely necessary. I am a waitress myself but I will not be tipping my usual amount because I feel like tips should be earned and she simply doesn’t deserve it.

Very disappointed! My husband and I were on our way back from an Anniversary weekend getaway and Historic Roscoe Village was on our way home and our last meal out together before we headed home and to reality . We loved Roscoe Village, so quaint. We saw this restaurant in the heart of this adorable town center and thought how could we go wrong? The atmosphere was great, so historic inside. My food was NOT good. The fried pickles were in a basket with other mystery fried bits and pieces left over from the fryer grease . I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries were VERY dry, I swear they tasted like they were a day old and reheated in the microwave. I didn’t eat them. The pulled pork sandwich was over cooked too and was hard on the ends like it was microwaved and the buns edges were rock hard! I mean rock hard! I took the meat off the bun and ate it that way. My husband ordered the flatbread pizza and liked it. It looked good. But overall it was a disappointment when half my meal was left. It’s a fabulous location and atmosphere they should really take advantage of the place and make the food fit the atmosphere. It could really be a gem if the revamped it.

Where do I begin!!! My husband and I have frequented this restaurant no less than 50 times in the passed 2 years and have always been satisfied up until 2 – 3 months ago. Let’s start with the menu… theses days you have to ask the server what they have… meaning that since they got a new person ordering the food you never know what they have to offer! One particular weekend not that long ago they were out of 90 percent of the menu! That is shameful. Not to mention embarrassing to the servers. This passed weekend once again they were out of 90 percent of the first 2 pages… as we flipped thru the rest we were once again told. nope…don’t have. ran out.etc. Seriously… how do you run out of lettuce and not go to the local store to buy some! Same thing goes for potatoes! We finally found something that they did have and on the 3rd try and an hour plus later it was edible. Flatbread pizza shouldn’t be that difficult! Please start using your outdoor pizza oven… the pizza was perfect when you did. Now to the 3 stars… the bartenders are great… very attentive and friendly! I personally think you get your food faster when sitting at the bar! Also, the food is good once you find something on the menu that they do have. One may ask why we keep going… well…it’s open on Sunday’s …you usually don’t have to wait for a table… the staff is friendly and once again the food is good once you get passed the numerous things they are out of! One recommendation to the owner… find someone competent to place orders with vendors so you have food to sell and serve! FYI… they don’t serve Lemonade anymore… they have Orange Crush in its place… bummer.

Table has food smeared on it. When I arrived there was one table table inside occupied so I sat at a table since there was no «please wait to be seated» sign. A waitress approached and asked if I was alone, I said 5 more would be along soon, she said«do you have a reservation?» me: :“no, do I need one?“ waitress: «let me check» she leaves and returns in two minutes waitress:“ok you can sit here, did you want anything to drink?“ I ordered a beer. I texted my group and they were outside so I went and joined them. Another waitress said she would have to check if it was«ok» to wait on me since I had been inside and had brought my drink outside to join my group. 10 minutes later she returned to take the group order. I guess it was OK to help me When I left 2 hours later there was still one table occupied inside. The service was sad but the food was very good. I give two stars because the lousy service experience really ruined the evening.

Me and my husband live in Nashport but always drive by so we decided to check it out. The food was really really good. We also ordered their Mac ‘N Cheese bites for appetizers and they came with the homemade marinara sauce which was excellent. The reason I’m giving only 3 stars is the service was VERY slow, for it being around 2:30pm on a Sunday and not a lot of other customers, and they were out of 3 of the menu choices… one being the motzerella sticks which was what our 4 year old really wanted to eat.

Hard to even give a one star review…45 minutes and never got our food(soup and a side salad). Terrible service. We left the restaurant after food was brought out to people that had arrived 15 minutes after we did.

Big disappointment! We waited for almost an hour for a few sandwiches. We got our salads quickly, so we were already committed and didn’t realize it would take so long for the rest of the order. When we inquired about our food with our stand-offish waitress, she said she had no idea when the food would be out because they have three areas that one kitchen has to make food for. It was not particularly busy and the middle of the afternoon. She could have cared less and didn’t even check on the status for us. We were just about ready to leave, when the food finally came. No apology — must be the norm I see from other reviews. The food was okay — nothing special, and small portions for what they charge. Won’t be going back.

Left restaurant without getting food. After waiting over hour with a 2, 5, and 6 year old we still didn’t have our food. The waitress was nice and kept apologizing and saying our food will be out any minute. One party had to drive over an hour with kids to get home at 8:36 when we left. Dont be in a hurry when eating there. We only ordered spaghetti and sandwiches, not full course meals.. Hard to rate food when we didn’t even get to taste it.

Husband and I drove into Coshocton for a dinner date. The warehouse was a cute place, dark and comfortable. Hostess was very friendly. Our waitress was nice, but seemed either very busy or maybe slightly new? She did a fine job, just seemed a little aloof. I ordered a drink from the bar that she wasn’t familiar with, so the bartender herself came to talk to me, and I ended up with a delicious drink(Actually, two :)). The pickle chips were delicious. I ordered the salmon dinner with mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked just right and mashed potatoes were great. Husband ordered steak with potato, added bacon and cheese to the potato, but it didn’t come on it. We just had it taken off our bill at the end of our meal. The food I thought may have been a little overpriced, but everything did taste well. I would probably recommend this place to a friend if they were headed to the area.

We are a 45 minute drive from this restaurant but feel the trip is worth it. The beer battered fish and chips are amazing… possibly the best that I’ve ever had. The prime rib is great. Be sure to order the zucchini and squash side –yummy. Oh, and you must order the slender onion straws as an appetizer. Absolutely delish! The sauce is wonderful. We love the downstairs because of the atmosphere. The bar waitress was very friendly and attentive. We also appreciated the older gentleman who brought out food and asked us if we were satisfied with our meals.

The service was slow and nonchalant. The ambience was dark and gloomy. And the fish and chips was SO greasy it slid off my husband’s plate so he sent it back and they brought back an even GREASIER piece so he sent it back and declined any further attempts. The pasta primavera was also drowning in olive oil to the point that I could only eat the top pieces of pasta and veggies. We won’t go here again because there was really NOTHING resembling about the experience.

Not many dishes to accommodate people with food allergies. The food looks great on the menu but is not cooked like it should be. Many times food is bland or even burnt. But it is one of the few restaurants in the area and is probably why it is still open. The bar however is great for drinks and appetizers.

I’m sure this place deserves a second visit — which is why they’re getting three stars. The menu is extensive, so I don’t want to judge them entirely on one dish. The onion appetizer is AWESOME and huge! It could have been the meal. I definitely recommend it. I happened to order a pasta dish with a tomato basil cream sauce. It is a new addition to the menu. I did NOT care for it. There was SO much garlic in it that the garlic was all I could taste and smell(and I ended up smelling like garlic as a result.) It was hard to finish. My boyfriend ordered a Reuben sandwich and loved it. I think they probably are better at some dishes than others. I would go back and try different fare(sandwiches, steaks, fish and chips…). But the pasta dish turned me off. Don’t recommend it. The service was adequate.

This is a very charming building and the restaurant has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. A friend and I had lunch here on a day when they were doing the Christmas candle-lighting ceremony in Roscoe Village. Our waitress was very helpful when we asked questions about the festivities. I ordered a flatbread pizza, and it was very yummy. My friend was much braver than I was, and she ordered a dish that had a bunch of different things in a bowl(sorry, I don’t remember the name of it, and I don’t see the dish listed on their online menu). Seems like it was some type of a pork sandwich with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and maybe a few other things. She half-regretted it after she ordered it, not being sure she would like it, but it turned out that she loved it. She commented several times during the meal that it was really delicious. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was really cold, at least in the corner booth where we were sitting. I just wanted so much for the place to feel as cozy as it looked, and being too cold through lunch was a disappointment.
