My boyfriend and I just enjoyed lunch at Luna Rana, the food was very fresh and delicious! We talked with the owners for awhile, Cindy and Darren who were very welcoming!

Service was FANTASTIC. The owners are cooky and sweet! The sandwiches are HUGE! I got the Cosmo club(I think that’s what it was called) with pasta salad and a Mayan Café. $ 9 for all of that?! SUPERB! The Mayan café was spicy, chocolatey, and rich. So much left over(it’s like getting two whole sandwiches). We’ll be back again and again!

This is such a cute little place! The food is yummy and the service is wonderful. The lady who owns it is so friendly and fun to talk to. It’s a neat little local place. I like to support places like this. She also has little bits of artwork and handicraft you can buy.

Yum! Inventive sandwiches with fresh ingredients, and the soup of the day(chicken vegetable) was delicious! Slightly off the highway(about 5 – 6 minutes) and well worth it… Great alternative to chain fast food joints.

Great choice for lunch or coffee. The coffee is great and Darren will experiment with new drinks if you request. The veggie sandwich is really good and they use vegan mayo so it’s safe for folks that are plant based. The décor is lovely and showcases local art that is for sale. Cyndi and Darren are so nice and welcoming that I just love coming here.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere The turkey lurkey sandwich was great! The owners were very friendly and knew the other local customers by name. We got free coffees for being first time customers! Very delicious coffee!

Sweet little family owned joint with lots of art on display and some things for sale. My hubby and I split a half a «Docwood» sandwich and it was delicious and a very generous portion. Coffee was perfectly brewed and everyone working there was super nice. Highly recommend.

Good, fresh and delicious. Had the Cosmo club, crispy bacon and fresh soft bread. If you are a small eater only order a half, the full is quite large. It is now my spot for good food in the Aberdeen area.

Gonna keep this at 5 stars. Easily the best place to eat in the Aberdeen area. I had the Cosmo Club which is a turkey bacon sandwich. Delicious fresh tasting bread, and really really good bacon! A small dining room but comfortable and clean. The owners are very friendly people and polite to talk to. A great place, highly reccomended!

We were driving along the coast and enjoying a day of exploration to get away from the Portland heat It was late in the afternoon and we were looking for a bite to eat This place is a very eclectic and interesting place. We weren’t sure what to expect when we first walked in The owner was incredibly friendly and you could tell quickly if he really cared about the quality of the food he prepares We ordered a club sandwich and were really surprised in a good way at how delicious it was. like others have posted they also gave us our fresh brewed iced tea for free because it was our first time visit. We love to eat good food in the Portland area. So it is such a treat to find great food when we were are out in the country more. Great little place. Don’t know if we will be in Cosmopolis soon again but if we are we will surely come to this restaurant a second time!

This small establishment is owned by a husband and wife. They serve a wide variety of interesting sandwich choices as well as unique tea options and also have gluten free bread. Our food was amazing and we stayed for 30 minutes talking to the owners who are great people. Extremely happy to have eaten at their place and met them.

Nice little place on Highway 101 in Cosmopolis. It is a combination tea/coffee café and local crafts store. They serve a limited breakfast menu(sandwiches and wraps). On that, I was disappointed as Unilocal led me to think I could get a «traditional» breakfast there. Their main food offering is lunch. The food was fresh, and hot. The service was very good and super friendly… The coffee was a bit«see through», however. Having grown up in the area, that seems to be the local style. The morning I was there, the espresso machine was down for repairs. Lots of loose tea choices if you don’t like weak drip coffee.

I’ve been a regular customer for a while now, and this is my favorite place for breakfast and lunch in the area by far. Great food, great atmosphere, and warm service. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for a cup of delicious coffee or a fantastic sandwich.

We travel fulltime and always look for local coffee shops along the way. We love to support local and love to find hidden gems like Luna Rana. From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we(reluctantly) left we felt like part of the family. We ordered 2 vanilla lattes(almond milk for me) and were very impressed with the quality of beans and excellent presentation. The owners provided us with exceptional company, gave us some great tips for local adventures and sight-seeing opportunities and refused to let us pay for our drinks. Oh, and yes… the drinks were among the best we’ve had in our travels.

This place is great!!! The owners displayed a kindness that was non intrusive and maternal. I felt comfortable as at home. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. The food was amazing! Fresh and quality ingredients, good combinations of flavor, and a wonderful presentation. Upon our first visit we received a free drink, choosing from coffee, tea or lemonade. Amazing place. If you pass by, you gotta try it.

Imagine picking a place for a late lunch purely at random and finding yourself greeted with a cheery«Hello, is this your first time in?» «Yes» we admitted and with a wide happy smile you are told«then your first drink is on us. Whether you order anything else or not.» Now is that cool or what? The owner and his wife have owned the business for about three years and they were so friendly and welcoming. Before we knew it, we had been introduced to their son, who helps out in the shop sometimes. And found out a little bit about the surrounding area while waiting for our food to be ready. Although is was well past noon, Hubby asked if the Breakfast Sandwich was still available. «Sure, and how do you want it made» was the answer. He chose patty sausage, egg and cheddar cheese on flatbread and requested coffee to drink.(it came with refills) I asked for an iced tea and ordered the Muffalata with homemade pasta salad. All of it quite delicious and, even more fun, several lunching local residents began to include us in their conversations during the time we were there. Luna Rana was our first encounter with the residents of Washington state. What a nice introduction!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was on a 3000 mile motorcycle trip with friends that took us through Cosmopolis during a particularly wet afternoon. We were all soaked through as we filled up with gas and just decided to stop at whatever café or coffee shop we passed next to try and dry out. We could not have been any luckier that Luna Rana was two blocks away. As we pulled up and parked across the street, the owner called out from the garage attached to the building and offered to let us park our bikes inside the garage so they could dry off, too. Once we parked in the garage and got all our we gear off, we went inside the coffee shop and were treated to easily one of the best Americanos I’ve ever had, using Three Peckered Billy Goat coffee from Raven’s Brew. We each had a couple drinks there while drying out and talking with the owners and other customers inside. We were volunteered use of the owner’s tablet to see weather forecasts for later that day, and then we all went out to the garage and made some minor bike repairs, and were given use of the owner’s tools to do it! Easily a highlight of the trip, I can’t thank or speak highly enough of Luna Rana and the folks who own it. The hospitality and warmth they showed to 3 ragged bikers of potentially questionable appearance who happened to stumble in will stick with me.

You know you’ve come to the right breakfast café when the owner, standing on a magistrate’s bench, beckons you over with a, «Now, let’s talk about your egg sandwich…» and then produces an incredible flat bread steaming with all the fixings, meat, and goodness you selected. Combine that with a mate tea spiced in-house, the friendliest owner and a great neighborly vibe, and you’ve got a dead ringer. We stumbled upon this place for breakfast on a weekend trip from PDX. Keith was the most hospitable host, gave us a map for hiking and a belly full of good karma for our journey. Get in there!
