Sell Rainier Ale = Open, with booming business. Discontinue Rainier Ale = Closed, out of business. Other establishments, take note.

A smaller store but they pack it to the brim so they have a pretty good selection. The gentleman working when I was there was very friendly and helped me find a few things I was looking for and offered some suggestions for things I couldn’t find. The refrigerated section is large so if you are looking for something ready to go, this is a good place to stop. My only complaint was that prices seemed a little high. Note: When I visited it was called Costa Mesa Wine and Spirits

I’ve been in Costa Mesa for the better part of a year and I just decided to check this place out a week ago. Man, I’ve been missing out! This place is a mini Micro-Brew heaven! All manner of Stone beers, Port Brewing, Odel, Maui Brewing, and the list goes on… They have a great hard liquor selection and a good wine selection. though I’ve not ventured much farther than the cold beer storage, it looks like they have a walk in humidor for cigars. Impressive… most impressive! If you’re in the are, give this corner liquor store a shot. You’ll be glad you did.

I have to just say that this little Liquor Store is ALWAYS going to get my business from now on! My friend and I went all over Costa Mesa, trying to redeem coupons she had for a specialty pack of cigarettes. Every single place denied the coupons because they«didn’t accept» them for one reason or another, even though they were on a list sent to my friend where her coupons could be in fact redeemed. This was just the last stop, after all her frustration, and expecting to get the same response, we were surprisingly greeted by a friendly man, who said he would redeem it, but he was currently out. He told her to come back next week and check to see if they had come in, and he also said that if he didn’t have them in by then, he would still accept the coupons if they are past the expiration date. Now, my friend, being the smoker, automatically tells the guy that regardless of the fact that he had the cigarettes or not, she will now be doing business with them because they were the nicest of all the stores. Now I’m writing this, so that everyone else knows, this place is a good liquor store to go to, and you should come here if you need smokes, alcohol, or just need to stop by for some snacks. Afterall, the best way to get business is by word of mouth, and I say major kudos to this little place!

Booze Tic Tac Bold! Booze Hubba Bubba Lighters Gatorade Booze Wild Cherry Cigarillos Dentine Ice Condoms Booze Ciggys Trident White Sugarless Ice Yes, folks, this is a one-stop shop for supplies if you are taking someone home from Kitsch Bar. Hey, you gotta be prepared. Also, don’t get discouraged if the ATM machine is out of order, because if you smile and ask nicely they will give you cash via the register if you have your ATM card. Good luck and remember, no glove, no love!

I The guy behind the counter was a very friendly fellow, and ill be damned if he didnt look just like Borat. Him and the other fellows would always talk beer, tell me what the best deal going was(cheap Carlsburg and Steinlager). They have a ton of wines and all types and ranges of liquor, and all the mixers and accessories you could ask for. I never got nicked/dimed at check out. If you dont know how much something costs, ask fool! They have a decent range of 40’s for a store outside of the hood. Also, Borat would also give me a heart-felt good luck whenever I bought a lotto ticket, and share in my happiness whenever I won a few bucks. Legendary as far as local liquor stores go.

I made at least one trip to this place everyday for like 2 years. I LOVED this place. Then, one day, I noticed a «pricing variation». Why it took me so long to notice this, I don’t know. Maybe cuz I was on a bender at the time(some people refer to this period of time as «2007»). I chalked it up to a one-time error, but vowed to be more vigilant in the future. Sadly, after careful observation I had to admit that this wonderful treasure-trove of alcohol and tobacco products is run by dishonest folks. They don’t scan UPCs, they punch prices in. You’re basically subject to whatever they feel like charging you that day, You get nickel and dimed to death. Variations are in the neighborhood of $.10 to $.75 cents. Caveat emptor, for real. If you have to shop here I suggest you pay cash so you can more easily track the actual amount you are charged and the change you are given. Again, not a one-time thing. They are habitual crumb-snatchers. Plus 4 stars for great selection, having more than 4 Prime Time flavors, red, blue and styrofoam plastic cups and being open later than any other non 24-hour liquor store. Minus three stars for shadiness.
