I come here daily and have gotten to know everyone here. I never experienced anything bad here at all from anyone so I can’t relate to any bad review here. Day shift, night shift… both good guys that are always helpful and happy when I speak with them. If you’re in the area go on in and make your own decision about the place, you could find it to be like mine.

THEGOOD: It’s pretty clean and they have things for sale. THEBAD: I can’t be the only person that gets a hard time from these assholes, am I? First, I would like to say that I am a grown man in my early thirties, decent job, proper attire et al. I find it pretty annoying that one of the day time guys watches me like I’m trying to steal every time I go in there. He has even accused me of some misdeeds a couple times. «Where did you put that candy you were holding?», «Did you put that Naked drink back or just leave it in the aisle?»… Look, when I was a hood rat back in the early 90’s, I always knew exactly why I was getting eyeballed, but now in 2012? Fuck this guy. Needless to say, I just avoid this place during the day. So whatever, they lose $ 5 a day. No big deal… I stopped in tonight and picked up a brownie. After I was charged I walked out the door, had second thoughts(I’m indecisive!) and walked back in to exchange it for a Snickers. As soon as I walk in I can tell the guy is annoyed. I ask to exchange and he tells me he can’t. I assured him that he can(because HEFUCKINGCAN.) and he acts like he doesn’t know how to do it. So I ask him how much a Snickers costs and he says $ 1.89. So I ask him to take the $ 1.19 brownie and an extra dollar, put it to the side and then have his boss do the exchange when he comes in. No dice… of course. Now, here is the thing. I was one of those pain in the ass customers for a second. I know that… but what I was asking for is so fucking easy. Would you like to know WHY I know it’s easy? Because I worked at 7 – 11 as a second job! Do you know WHY I worked 7 – 11 for an additional 20 hours a week on top of the 50 I was doing somewhere else? BECAUSETHEFUCKINGJOBISEASY. People ask for shit, you give it to them. That’s it. Every once in awhile you put down the magazine you’re reading, pick up a broom and sweep. This guy was just being difficult because: A: He’s an idiot and doesn’t know how to do his job or… B: He’s got some kind of problem with me. Either way, I’m done with this place. There is another 24 hour joint equidistant from me as this place so it’s no big deal. I really hope these dickheads have a lot of shoplifters because that is the only reason I can think of for them to have such contempt for their customers.

I asked to buy a lottery ticket. All I had was a $ 20. Chamin, the clerk, didn’t want to sell me one. Didn’t want to break my $ 20. He then claimed the machine didn’t work. Some guy eating a hot dog by the machine was watching this transpire. He chimes in «machines working now». Awesome. Got my ticket, shoulda bought that dude another hot dog.

I’ve been to this 7 – 11 many times. It seems to be a franchise that is not owned by corporate. It stays pretty clean and the guys that work there are all pretty nice. They have a huge selection of sodas, beers, and food. The parking lot is sort of small because it shares spots with a few other stores. But there are some open spots out back in the post office parking lot area that you can use. Look out for the beggar that likes to sit out front at night. He’s not there all the time, but he seems to have short term memory loss because he asks me for money every time.

Right next door to Frank’s Philadelphia. I love 7 Eleven’s fountain lemonade!
