I love his art :) Thanks! Sometimes it’s hard to just pick a gift for someone. That’s why I went to Ben. He is a PRO. He figured out what to make for the special someone. He drew a draft and I said COOL! So yeah, he’s cool :) Cool in my book.

Thank you Unilocal for helping me find Ben’s Fine woodwork. He recently made a custom game station for my dental office, and the kids just love it! He made it precisely to my specifications and appears to be sturdy. The price was very reasonable and the turnaround time was on schedule.

So check it out Unilocaler’s! Literally the day before our Thanksgiving RV vacation we decide to search for someone in the Orange County area that has a Corn Hole Game. So like any normal southern Californian I check on Unilocal! Not only do I find Ben’s page but I see that one of my fellow Unilocal friends has already had a great experience with Ben. FYI, we picked up our Corn Hole game just before we hit the road. Ben met us at South Coast Plaza right near the 405 freeway. We jumped on the freeway and started our vacation with our favorite game. If you need anything made out of wood give Ben a call, this guy is great!

On the rare occasion that Unilocal doesn’t answer my questions(e.g. «What is the meaning of life?» «What is the air-speed-velocity of an unladen swallow?» or «Where do I find cornhole boards in Orange County?), I turn to my second favorite website in the world: Craigslist. I sent an email to Ben, who purported to make cornhole boards, and he promptly got back to me. When I asked if he could Unilocalify them and make the Unilocal burst as the hole, he said, «absolutely!» When I asked if he could do it in three days, the answer was, «Of course!» Things were off to a great start with Ben, and they only got better. In true Craigslist fashion, the exchange went down in a parking lot, but that was the only Craigslisty part about it. Turns out Ben has businesses cards and even had a professional looking invoice. I’ve gotta admit, I was nervous about how these boards would turn out, it WAS kind of an odd custom request. But they turned out FANTASTIC! He had it all perfectly sanded and primed and the bags he made to go with the set were great too. Looks like he does all sorts of custom woodwork too, from shelves, to chairs, to desks. I haven’t had the need for any of those things yet, but I definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a good cornhole. ;)
