Items are VERY expensive at this store. We purchased some bath towels after numerous visits to the store which included numerous conversations with a staff member named Debra before finally deciding to make the purchase. We discussed at length with Debra over multiple occasions that we were decorating a new home, and all the headaches that come along with that. As weird as this sounds, she was even text messaging us over the period of about a week to motivate us towards the towels and acting as though she had our best interests in mind and would tell us if a sale was to come up. The morning after the purchase, we returned to the store to exchange the towels for a different color because the color didn’t go with the room. The lighting in the store is very dim and the color looked completely different in our home. Debra acknowledged that she was aware that could happen and even stated that the towels are plush, but not really for use as they don’t absorb water well. What?! It was like the twilight zone! We were told that we could NOT exchange or return the products. We were in total shock. After the many times we had been in the store, NOW they decided to tell us we were stuck with it? Then I saw that on the bottom of the receipt is clearly states«Merchandise may be returned for store credit only in original condition within 10 days of purchase». It literally hadn’t even been 10 hours let alone 10 days. Debra shakes her head, no and says we can not exchange them. As you can imagine, we were very upset. We had just spent hundreds of dollars in this«high end» store and you would expect that a level of customer satisfaction would come along with that. Debra refused to exchange just saying that she was sorry. No other reason. We asked for the manager and she said she couldn’t get him. We asked for a call from him and NEVER heard back. If this is how they treat customers and returns, they should tell you that before you spend a small fortune in the store! It is common when redecorating that some things work and some don’t and we should have been able to exchange them without an issue! You would be much better off going to Nordstrom or Macy’s for your items with the peace of mind #1 good quality, #2 good customer service. BEWARE.

Went into Between the Sheets today. The customer service was beyond kind and helpful. This outlet store is beautiful! I was treated with respect and would recommend this store to anyone looking for luxury items at a wonderful price.

I just had the best shopping experience of my life, and I shop alot… The staff were so helpful and made me feel at home, The elegant displays could fit in any home, a condo or oceanfront mansion, I have used the blankets on my boat, airplane and then in my house… Perfect for comfort, warmth, beauty, go see the great staff and say Dolly sent you, I am there so often, expect the best and thank me after…

A good friend had been telling me for years what a difference superior sheets make. Really didn’t care till I stopped into Between the Sheets at the S.C.M. A nice blond lady sales person was very helpful, explained and showed me the difference and why buying good sheets wasn’t a purchase but an investment. I walked out with two complete sets and a special laundry detergent for fine linens. I didn’t think I could expect to use Tide on my investment.(She was right) Oh yea, she didn’t make me feel like an idiot. She was considerate and didn’t make me feel like I was out of my league, which I was.

WOW what a bunch of stuck up people and I never say things like this. My Ex and I decorated 3 homes from this place. Today I walked in was the only there never once was I said hello to. Older woman walks complains then does her return. Young OC looky Lou gets attention from the other clerk and I’m still standing there(white pants blk jacket $$$ burning in my wallet) 5 mins later dude walks past me said nothing and goes into stock room. #%^* Between the Sheets.

Yep, we got burned on the no refund policy too. If you are reading these reviews you probably ran into the same issue. My wife missread the tag and we had to race back down there to return the bedding, to beat the deadline for our credit. We used the credit for some extremely overpriced sheets, but successfully used all our credit up. Wish they would of had more selection to choose from. Donne with BTS.

I actually am disappointed by the prior Unilocaler reviews. For at least 15 years I was a long time customer of Between the Sheets located in Fashion Island. I thought the staff was truly wonderful and the items were outstanding, amazing and unique. Yes, it is pricey but the selection, quality and high end items were so fabulous. Items here I could never find elsewhere and yet why would I want to return something that could not be found anywhere else? I disagree, respectfully to the other Unilocaler reviews because my experience has been great in the past. I have stopped in this new location and still loved the items but wish they were still in Fashion Island. Stop in, there is so much to see and the decorating accessories and items are top notch and unique. Fabulous!!!
