I am not actually writing a review on this particular store. My problem is with their online service. Apparently Cache is closing all it’s stores and not every one is aware of this. I was not. I purchased a dress I really liked on March 3rd. It did not fit well so I returned it to where the paperwork told me to. I enclosed all the paperwork as they requested. Within a week the package was sent back to me… marked as refused. I called the online number and there is only a recording now telling the caller that the stores are liquidating and they can only be contacted by email. Per the recording I had a legitimate return as I had purchased it before March 5th. I sent an email, as requested and never got a response. I am now stuck with a $ 300 dress!

After a long search for a dress for a wedding i came here and fell in love with a beautiful beaded gown… I think the customer service could be a little bit better considering how much they charge for their clothing!!! Will def go back or maybe order online… Looking forward to buying more fancy clothes

Not much to look at this season. Sometime I want everything in the store and today there was nothing.

I came here one evening to search for a prom dress, now I wasn’t expecting to find very much but I was hopeful. The dresses are very good quality and I respect that the bling on the dresses weren’t just cheap plastic. Now the prices of the dresses were a little high for my small wallet :(. However I don’t think its too pricey considering the quality you get. Maybe one day I’ll buy a dress here when I’m rolling in dough! *laugh*

Came here with my mom and sister during the holidays. The clothes are obviously on the pricey side but nevertheless very classy. A white sweater that’s 50% off is still $ 50.00, so considering the prices of its merchandise and the fact that it’s located in a nice mall with so many high-brand stores, you would think that the employees know how to provide decent costumer service. However, based on my personal experience, the employees at Cache either hate their jobs, don’t care about providing good costumer service, or both. First off, the employees that were working on the day I visited never gave a smile to me, my mom, or even anybody else shopping in their store. No greeting, no smile, nada. My mom had to flag down an employee to ring her up even though there was another employee already at the counter who ignored us because she was standing around«helping» another costumer. At least a simple«I’ll be right with you» or asking another employee to help would have helped! When my mom was making her purchase, the employee that was ringing her up simply asked her for her phone number without any explanation on why she needed my mom’s number. My mom gave two numbers, which both did not go through. The employee then shook her head and stared at us and then waited for US to figure out what to do next. I was a bit confused and at this point somewhat annoyed so I spoke up and asked her, «Do we need to provide you a phone number to make a purchase?» She answered no, so I figured this whole time she assumed we had membership with the store. I believe that this is where she lacked customer service skills. She assumed we had a membership account, but we did not. When she figured we did not have a membership account, she didn’t even bother to explain to us what the membership account is and instead just kept asking for our numbers, which obviously was not in their system because we do not have an account in the first place. Before we left the store, I really wanted to encourage her that next time before asking for a customer’s number, she should find out if they have an account first and if they don’t she should offer the customer the opportunity to open an account by explaining the membership. However, I didn’t bother telling her anything because what kind of employee doesn’t know to do that? Listen Cache employees: just because you work at a shop that has expensive merchandise doesn’t mean you should not greet your customers, smile at your customers, or provide good customer service. You suck. I hope the manager, supervisors, employees, and whoever else that is affiliated with this Cache branch read this review and revamp the quality of your customer service.

Service is perfect! The ladies are not pushy, extremely helpful and really nice. This is a store I like to go to when I am looking for something unique and it never fails. They have super cute and tailored blouses, awesome and stylish jackets with personality, and a huge selection of great dresses. I never have to have anything tailored. Every item I have purchased has lasted and still holds it timeless look, perhaps it is because I do not shop many trendy styles. I do like items with an edgy look and they often have just that. I like being on their Cache discount program and I find when I buy something the pricing is a steal. Cache is one of my favorites!

I’ve always had a hard time finding clothing that fit my body type– I’m short but with big boobs, tiny waist but big hips– gah it’s a nightmare sometimes. Jeans are ALWAYS like 8 inches too long on me and I sometimes have to get straps altered. Anyways, Cache is a great store. The sales associates are great, the styles are great, and the fit is great. I’m at a weird in-between age where I second guess what styles I can wear… I’m no longer a teenager, and I don’t feel like an «adult» quite yet… even though I’m 28. it’s tough because I look so young, that people treat me like I’m a kid. When I try to dress my age, it just makes me look younger. Blargh. At Cache, the clothing has a more mature tone and it seems like it’s geared towards women in their late 20’s to 40’s or maybe even 50’s. I never have that«am I too old to get away with wearing this» feeling when I shop here. more like a: «I am wearing what I should be wearing» epiphany. Even teenagers could find something here, especially for homecoming or prom in the dresses section. It is a little pricey, but they do always have a sales rack on display.

This review is based on my senior prom dress search! We all know that this is a stressful time for a teenaged girl, looking for the perfect dress while on a $$ and time budget. Five months before the date, I found THE dress on . It was electric blue, it was jaw-droppingly gorgeous, it was made of light, airy, heavenly chiffon, it was… $ 238+tax+s&h. Needless to say, my heart broke and I had to keep looking. Months passed and I never found another dress that suited me more than the dress from Cache and I curse them for bewitching me! Two weeks before the date, with no dress, I had to suck it up and I went to the stores to look for the dress. I went to SF Westfield, New Park Mall, and Hilltop(all in the Bay Area), and they were completely sold out. I went on the website and called up about 10 more stores — still all sold out. Finally, I called the Costa Mesa one, and it must’ve been a miracle, because the receptionist said, «We JUST got one back yesterday, the mother who bought it returned it because her daughter didn’t like it.» I confirmed that it was in my size and ordered it through the telephone. It arrived 5 days later and fit like a glove. Ahh, mission accomplished :].
