I had been looking for a new hair stylist that was closer to home. I’m on the picky side because I have difficult hair. I have/​had blonde hair that has turned mostly grey. It is curly, frizzy, and fine, and on top of that it’s been thinning with age! So, with lots of time spent blow drying and using products, I can make it look presentable, but who wants that?
I found Cassie through Unilocal and her great reviews, and I could not be happier!!! I hadn’t been to a stylist in 9 months due to illness and I needed the works!
I got both highlights and lowlights which blended perfectly and added dimension. The color is a sandy blonde, with loads of shine and highlights that look like ive been at the beach. Lots of compliments!
She took about 3 inches off my hair, so now it’s collar length with side-​swept bangs and tapered to frame my face, but not fully layered or I’d lose volume. BEST cut I have ever had! But the best part, besides chatting with Cassie of course, was the Brazilian Blowout! No more frizz, brilliant shine, and ten minutes to style straight. If I air dry my hair, I get soft beachy waves with shine and no frizz! Looks awesome with a tee and jeans for the weekend, and my hair feels versatile, fun, strong and really healthy! It’s the hair I’ve always wanted, and the credit goes to Cassie!
I just felt so comfortable with her immediately. She really listened to what I wanted, made a few great suggestions, and we just hit it off! I can’t thank her enough for my amazing transformation! I feel 10 years younger and have received a lot of nice compliments. So thank you Cassie! I recommend her highly to anyone looking for a new stylist. She genuinely cares, and listens so well to what you want. That is very hard to find nowadays. And the prices are very good for what you get! I was amazed — especially for the Brazilian Blowout!
You can tell by now that the service and outcome surpassed my expectations in every way, and I am a loyal customer already. Thank you so very much Cassie, you are a true professional with a relaxing fun side too! See you in a few mos ;)

Cassie is a Fantastic hair stylist! I have been seeing Cassie for about 2 years, and let me tell you, I have put her through the ringer!!! Haha!
I have a ton of hair. That’s a challenge in itself, but I have had Cassie take me from blonde to dark brown back to blonde in less than 12 months. And I still have all my hair (thickness and length!
Cassie is very honest, if you want something done and she knows it will destroy your hair and you won’t be happy — she is going to tell you. I have done this in the past with my hair and had to chop it all off. I’m glad Cassie has saved me from going through that again.
I’m very picky, but she always does a great job. She has done great cuts, color and I have had a Brazilian Blowout from her as well. The salon is on the border of newport beach and costa mesa near the triangle (great location).

Cassie is the ONLY one I’ll trust with my hair now! I used to bounce around from salon to salon, depending on what was convenient – until I went to Cassie. I first got in touch with her at The Dolphin, but luckily she moved to KE and I’ve been going there ever since. I’ve had hair down to my mid-​back for over 10 years now, and when I would cut it I would just add layers. no coloring, nothing drastic. Last Fall I was starting to itch for something new, and decided I wanted to donate my hair. I wanted to wait till it was just long enough, and in February I went to Cassie for the big cut (11 inches).
Although I had been thinking about it for a while, she made sure I was COMPLETELY mentally prepared before she took out the scissors. I was so nervous before the cut, but absolutely LOVED what she did. Since then, I’ve been going shorter and shorter and I don’t think I’ll ever go long again.
She was amazing when my hair was long, and equally amazing with my new short cuts! I also ventured out and got highlights for the first time with her, and she did such an amazing job at blending them and making them look natural. I’ve recommended her to all of my friends… she’s amazing:)

I purchased a groupon for a partial weave/​cut/​style & saw Cassie today. She is amazing! Did such a great job. I havent had my hair done in such a long time bc of pregnancy and the recent birth of my child. I desperately needed a hair change. She had a great way of figuring out what I wanted, and ensuring that she understood. As a non hair stylist, its always been challenging for me to actually articulate what it is I want my hair to look like. She was awesome. BEST part is, Ive never EVER enjoyed going to the salon bc I hated sitting in a chair for hours on end, not only was she super conversational, welcoming and friendly, she was FAST! With a 4.5 month old baby waiting for me at the inlaws I do not want to be sitting for long and she got me out of there super quick! Thank you, Cassie!!!

Cassie is an amazing stylist. She always leaves my hair looking beautiful, from the great cut to the amazing color. I’m always truly impressed by her knowledge and how much she cares about her clients. I have been seeing her for almost 2 years and I really wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else. I would recommend her to anyone. It’s very difficult to find a good stylist so I’m very grateful to have found Cassie.

Thank you Cassie so much for being such a wonderful stylist and great listener! Not many stylists listen to what you want and end up with an awful and embarrassing cut. My daughter and I really appreciate your knowledge on cuts and styles and what works best for us. I’m glad that I was able to find you after you left that other salon because it took me 4 yrs. to find you in the first place! I will be calling you soon for a follow up on my daughter’s cut and perhaps a new style for me ;)

Reunited and it feels so good! I found Cassie in Fall 2011 and the care she gave my hair was beyond fabulous. She recently moved from Dolphin Hair to KE Salon but honestly, I would follow her to the moon and back. She’s the only person I trust with my hair. After years of tormenting myself with boxed highlighting kits and dye, I promised myself that I would find someone who cared as much about my hair and my look as I do. Cassie cares. She’s honestly the best in town… in any town.

Cassie is amazing! I was in desperate need of a new hair stylist down in OC after being disappointed by over-​priced, snobby ones in the are and was lucky enough to find her (or at least the salon) through Groupon. Cassie saved my hair at first from box dye jobs, turning me into a red head and most recently a blond. I absolutely love everything she has done to my hair, and actually really enjoy my time with her while in the chair (I used to never be one to open up to hair stylists like so many do, but not the case with Cassie). Her prices are great, especially for the great job she does. All should get their hair done by her!

Cassie is fabulous! I’ve always had great hair stylists up north so when I moved down to OC, i was apprehensive to try anyone new… which is why I started box dying and not keeping up with my cut. I was seriously a hot mess when I met Cassie. She saved me! She keeps her prices fair and has an open and bubbly personality that keeps me entertained throughout all of the crazy experiments we go through with my hair. She’s honest and will explain any little bit of the process.
I can’t imagine going to anyone else and would recommend her to anyone!

I miraculously and randomly found Cassie through a Groupon deal offered by the salon she works at — and I’m so glad I did! I have searched high and low for an Orange County stylist that is as friendly as they are skilled and Cassie certainly fits the bill. After stylist-​hopping for some time, my hair was in shambles; it was pretty long and I had choppy layers that weren’t blended very well. Cassie was able to explain exactly what the other stylists had done wrong with my hair and make suggestions for a cut that was best suited for my fine locks. I love how fast she is — I’m usually in and out (with wash, cut and blowdry) in less than an hour! She’s also a great listener — she won’t do anything until she fully understands what you’re looking for and is able to explain to you exactly what she’ll be doing. Thanks, Cassie!
