So great! The hot red salsa is amazing and so is the gree. You can get your taco fillings any style-salad, taco, burrito. A great place for a delicious, quick lunch.

I have to say, the place is ran by all white folks with one Mexican lady who cooks. So I guess calling this place a a Mexivan food spot may not be completely wrong. The food was good. Yumny fish burrito and pretty hefty too.

Chronic Taco & Jake are amazing! We had CT cater our son’s graduation party and it was spectacular! Jake went above and beyond and made the whole experience a delight. Not to mention how great the food was and how much our guests enjoyed it! We will definitely use Chronic taco for another event!

The service was downright insulting. I’ve never walked into a restaurant feeling like an employee was actually put out by making a taco. That is a restaurant right? Chronic tacos? Where they serve people tacos and you pay for them? Can I then ask why upon entering your store I’m treated less than human? The Hispanic kid with the SnapBack and mustache scoffed and shook his head when I asked for 4 fish tacos for my friend and I. I guess that’s a difficult item to make, considering your a taco place. When people started coming in for lunch rush he shook his head vibrantly, making it clear for all to see that he wasn’t happy working there. My advice? Get rid of him. Because if I wasn’t in a better mood today, I don’t know what worse things I might have said or done than write this review. However, the tall white guy with a beard and backwards cap took over my order and he was very nice, respectful, and helpful with finishing my items. If anything I wish I could bring myself to write a better review for the sake of this helpful gentlemen, but alas I cannot as In the moment I walked in I felt utterly unwanted, insulted, and treated like garbage.

The food was ok. They were just understaffed, so it took a little longer, and the place needed to be cleaned up. Clearly nobody wanted to take out the trash. The garbage was so full, people had to pile their trays of trash on a nearby table.

Honestly I’m very disappointed in this location I grew up next to the one on PCH and that one by far is still the best. I know live down the street from here and have tried this one so many times but I think this was my last. They are consistently terrible. Meat very dry with no flavor, they try and nickel and dime you over any salsa or an extra tortilla or anything of the sort. The staff there has always been rude and had an attitude like they don’t want to be there anymore especially the gentlemen at the register today he should be fired for the attitude I got for asking for a tortilla on the side. Unfortunately I won’t get to eat chronic as much as I would like unless I’m down by the one by the beach this location has let me down too many times.

I honestly love this place. The food is amazing and the portions are really filling. It’s always a pleasant experience, but my last experience was something to write about! It was lunch time and there was a line out the door but the staff seemed to be handling orders expertly. It’s my turn and I order a vegetarian breakfast burrito and a vegetarian taco(it was a tough day, okay?). Now I’ve been vegetarian for seven years and I’ve learned how to not be a total ass when I’m ordering-especially during a crowded lunch rush. The server promptly asked«so are you a real vegetarian?» And I said yes and his helpful reply was«okay so you’ll want our white rice, our other rice is made with chicken broth, and all of our beans are vegetarian.» I was shocked to hear this helpful information without any obnoxious prodding on my part. Usually I opt for the white rice and black beans, safe choices for vegetarians, as to avoid a long list of questions for my order. I got to try refried beans! It gets better! Even with the line of people and what I’m sure was a very hectic list of orders, Dylan actually changed his gloves to complete my order. I exclaimed«did you just change gloves after touching meat for my vegetarian order!!!» And he was like«yeah of course, we got you!» I couldn’t believe it. I’ve learned to get over the gloves thing, but what a treat to have someone do it without request!

Food was horrible and here’s the breakdown! –Chicken was over salted –Battered fish was rubbery and the guy making our food was either nervious and folds under pressure, or had an intentional bad attitude! –ordered the Machaca breakfast taco and the Machaca meat was bland and tasteless although cooked to perfection. –Guacamole was fresh made and that’s about it, it was missing KEY ingredients such as lime and salt! Unreal and utterly disappointed. The only thing they do correct at this location is make sure, 100%, to say goodbye to every customer on their way out the door! Not good enough for me to ever return…

Good food, fast service, and friendly staff! Can get busy around lunch time. The quesadillas are huge. They have a lot of toppings — red sauce, green sauce, pico de gallo, lime, cheese, onion, cilantro, — to name a few, so you can have your taco your way.

Hands down the best chronic taco I’ve ever been to. The establishment is always clean and very inviting. The staff is always friendly and quick at getting my order done so I can get back to work. The food is never less then superb! Always enjoy the amazing seasoning and flavor of the carne asada. Yesterday my boss had chronic taco catered for us at work. It was so impressive how hot and we’ll prepared all of the food was. Everyone loved it. Over all this place is awesome!

All my family and coworkers love this location. The employees are always super friendly and happy to serve you. We LOVE Dylan, and Manager Dylan. The food is extremely fresh and of course«chronic». I think my boyfriend and I came here 3 times a week for a good period of time, and my coworkers and I eat lunch here very often. The portions are huge, and the beverage selection is wide(they have a Coke freestyle fountain machine too). You really can’t go wrong with their good quality, fresh Mexican-style food. The options are endless and it all tastes amazing. Yes, the building suite is on the smaller side, but the atmosphere inside is very relaxed and welcoming. Pro tip: Try the Chronic Fries and Baja Sauce

Wayyyy mediocre. Maybe it’s because of what I ordered though. I had the flautas — the offering was 3 of them for $ 6.99 so I expected something better than the frozen joints I saw them put in the deep fryer after I ordered. I mean, I could have gone to the grocery store and accomplished what they did for much less. The verdict, still underwhelming after the deep frying. I also had rice and beans a la carte– they were okay. I did appreciate that the chips they served were warm and I got a free serving of guac bc I checked in on Unilocal. Service was pretty decent except for the cashier guy who was sagging his pants like the hot boys in ’03. Facilities were clean. I’ll stick with my Chipotle for inauthentic Mexican food though.

When I think of something«chronic» I believe it to be habitual, or habit forming. The name is a bit misleading, since the tacos here are simply tacos that I have had before at other places. I dont see one characteristic thats special enough to really stick out. Lets dish. Staff is friendly and dining area is fairly clean. I like the concept of a fresh option, where tortillas are abundant in front of you and not stuck in a bag or back in the backroom fridge. I like the assembly line of Chronic Taco professionals who make the tacos with the trimmings in front of you. I went with a Chicken Taco and Asada Taco. They ran out of chicken after I ordered, so I had to wait for 20 mins, but the server did make a fresh taco for me. Good service on that part. But as I mentioned before, its a taco that has been done before at many places, and its nothing special that sticks out. I would say that maybe Chronic Tacos specialty could be its marketing. Who doesnt think Chronic Tacos is catchy? Basic functionality, tasty tacos and catchy name: Its a silver medal winner in Taco Olympics! Perks: Food is tasty and menu seems inviting enough to come back and try something new. Cool deals for Taco Tuesday! This location is close to Target and other shopping nearby. Downsides: Pricey for Tacos if its not Taco Tuesday. Awesome TIP: Hey Unilocalers! Remember to check in for specials! OverALL: A-OK. It was good, but not amazing. I was hoping for EPIC, but it was satisfying at the moment. Definitely hit or miss.

Chronic Tacos is like hipper Chipotle without a tofu option, pretty much. They make your food in front of you with your input, and you can get a monster burrito, which is a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla(MURICA!). All of the beans(refried, pinto, black) are vegetarian. White/lime rice is free of animal products. My friend and I each ordered a veggie burrito and had wonderful customer service from Samantha. We weren’t rushed, she immediately knew answers to our questions about what was vegan, and joked around with us. The burritos were enormous, like Chipotle size, although I think my friend said maybe even bigger. I couldn’t finish mine. Checking in on the Unilocal app scored us free chips and guac, which were fairly good; the chips are extremely thin and crunchy, which I liked a lot. They have a Coke Freestyle machine if you dig soda. Restroom was clean and there was more than ample parking.

I love the taste and options that Chronic Tacos has vs Chipotle, but the portions are much smaller. Their al pastor is fantastic, but they barely give you any, not in the burrito or taco do you get much of anything. All the toppings are fantastic, the sauces and salsas always tasty and fresh, but you really have to order up just to be full and the prices are not cheap enough for that. They do have specials and you can sign up for coupons via text. Service was ok, not stellar, wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

This location is good. Since they’re new you get somewhat smaller portions for the nachos :/I got mine with Parmesan cheese on top(which I just found out they have). You can also get melted cheddar cheese or melted Parmesan cheese on your nachos. Just have to ask. The grated Parmesan is incredible in the potato tacos and as a seasoning on top of the nachos! They have a good choice of drinks, including Jarritos, so don’t forget to order one or ask for a water cup. Friendly service, A+ Extra salsa is complimentary :)
