I used to feel good about walking over to my neighboring convenient store to buy all those late night snacks an goodies. Until the management changed. They brought in some new people, all of which are okay, except for one guy, the bald grumpy guy with the gut. He is literally the most unprofessional clerk I have ever encountered in my life. The first time I had him ring me up, he was chewing something with his mouth open and didn’t even slow down to talk to me, I literally saw food shoot out of his mouth into my drink I was trying to buy. The second time he was talking on his cell phone behind the counter in some foreign language with a line of confused customers building behind me and he didn’t even put the call on hold while he attempted to ring me up. He was distracted and coughing with his mouth open into his hands before he tried to give me my $ 1.77 change. I said keep it and walked away. I didn’t want to handle anything that came from his filthy hands. Now I look first to see if he’s working and go over to ⁷⁄₁₁ if he is. I have never been so grossed out by someone like this before. It’s sad that one guy can ruin the whole experience of a great little store. I am hoping that the owners see this post and rethink their hiring decisions a little more. Maybe train the staff to smile a little and to not look like a complete bonehead at the register.

96 cents for a 44 ounce in a Thirst Buster foam cup to keep my sweet DC cold longer; refills are only 79 cents and the cups are quite durable.
Very friendly staff… a little embarrassed when they say «see you tomorrow for your refill» though… Note to self: I gotta start drinking more H2O.
