Talked to a representative before I came here. I was looking for PF flyers in certain colors/​sizes. I was told that the sizes/​colors I was looking for were in store/​in stock. I was looking for the Made in USA pf flyers, not many stores carry them so I was pretty hyped. I made the drive from the riverside area immediately after finding out that they had these shoes in «stock». Once I arrived an employee tried finding me the shoes but it was blatantly obvious that they didn’t even have the colors/​sizes in stock. I asked for 4 different combination of colors/​sizes before I made it out there, not a single pair was there upon my arrival. The employee seemed less than sympathetic and basically made it seem like it was the stores fault that they told me the shoes were in stock. Basically I drove an hour and some change just to be hit with «its all wabi sabi bro». Terrible customer service.

Came here today to buy a pair of Eastland shoes that I had been searching forever for and had a great experience! I didn’t get the guy’s name but he was extremely helpful in answering any questions and seemed very knowledgeable about these shoes in general. He talked to me on a personal level about his preference for what I’ll be needing these shoes in particular (winter in Europe) for. Very pleased with this place and didn’t even know this whole little shopping area existed. Will definitely be back!

I wondered into Cloth & Metal while kicking flavor at SOCO on a Friday afternoon recently and must admit they offer an eclectic and interesting slew of men’s goods. From designer jeans to hipster shaving kits, Cloth & Metal has you covered. I seemed most interested in their collection of high end audiophile quality headphones and found a great pair for a mere $ 2100.00. I decided that my $ 300.00 pair of Bose Noise Canceling Headphones will continue to serve purpose well enough but if I ever decide to invest heavily in personal sonics, I know just where to go.
The service was actually very impressive. The person that answered my headphone questions was both knowledgeable and courteous throughout our conversation. The clothing offered wasn’t exactly my steez (think: outfits you would see in Maxim) but the presentation, aesthetic and «cool factor» of the store was definitely up to grade. If I ever need super skinny jeans or a camouflage tie I will point my car in the direction of Cloth & Metal!

Great unique men’s boutique clothing store with a Venice Beach/​LA/​Los Feliz vibe in the OC. Service was exceptional. I ordered a shirt and the wrong was sent, because I had waited a few weeks they had the correct one shipped overnight and trusted me to return the first shirt all at no charge. Old time service with a cutting edge vibe.

This place is worth my drive up from San Diego. It’s the definition of a bro’tique. Imagine all the latest and greatest dude items covering a wide spectrum from hair /​shaving products to audio gear. If you’re ever feeling out of style or un-​hip come here and they’ll dial you in. Friendly staff that know the ins and outs of all products and the location is great. If you have a significant other bring her and let her roam around the other great stores in the OC Mix while you take a brief moment to hook yourself up with some new threads or other gear.

Awesome staff that are really friendly and great products for men. I go here for the great high end shaving products. Way better than Art of Shaving at a better price!

Incredible boutique in the OC Mix Mart. He quality of products and the knowledge of their employee, Luke, was absolutely top notch. The selection of products, the vibe of the store & the customer service experience is all that I’m looking for in a retail shop.
I highly recommend picking up a coffee from Portola & spending some time shopping here!

I love stores like Cloth and Metal. Not your typical audio store. This is a place to go where the owner is into audio, not a snob, doesn’t treat you like you are a nobody because you are not an audiophile. No pressure. But, you can sit down and ab test the equipment and he just helps guide you in a way the big box electronics stores can’t or won’t. I bought a set of Audio Engine speakers from Scott and got them home and loved them. He did not try and up sell me a dac or anything else. A few weeks later i inquired about a sub and he said he would get one in for me to demo. He told me no pressure and he hoped I would find a sub I loved. He emailed me and asked if I wanted a demo and I had already bought a sub for my setup from another vendor. He emailed back and said he was stoked I found the setup for me that rocked. I inquired about adding a dac and he was very knowledgeable about dacs and actually let me come in and demo some for myself. No pressure.
I am so happy with my system now and the buying experience could not have been better. Cloth and Metal will have me as a customer for years to come. I just wish more stores were like them. It reminds me of the good old days!!!

A young couple and adorable baby owns this establishment. They were so nice and really attentive. They had a cute collection of men’s clothing, shoes, grooming products and electronics! Definitely a place to check out!
