Coastal Secure Shredding

Looking for a reasonable deal to destroy old documents. The one closest to my home did not provide a Certificate of Document Destruction so I checked Unilocal and found Coastal Secure Shredding. They were a few miles away and open when I arrived with my boxes for shredding. Vincent handled the job in a few minutes. He was pleasant and provided all the information I needed. He gave me the Certificate for my personal files and allowed me to watch a video of inside his truck while it destroyed my old records. I was comfortable knowing that my papers were properly shredded and told him I would review his service on Unilocal.Mobile shredding is their business, but are available on certain days of the week for shredding at their warehouse.

Fantastic company! You can either go to them in Costa Mesa, or they will drive their truck to you! They have big bins, you transfer your paper to the secure bin and then you can watch it be shredded (if you like). Very quick, very reasonable! I wish I had done it much sooner but everyone else charged much more for shredding. The staff is professional and helpful. Great experience and my garage is now empty!

Spring cleaning, my staff told me. They wanted to clear out the waste that was accumulated in the warehouse. Less than 15 minutes … and it was all gone. 15+ file boxes of paperwork that I needed destroyed so that I can make room for an incoming shipment from overseas was destroyed in a matter of minutes. I made sure my husband would come to the office in the morning to help me move the boxes to a centralized location and right on time I see the truck roaming the complex looking for us.
The truck is a bit noisy when it gets started, but I couldn’t believe how quickly he dumped the papers into a bin and loaded it up onto his shredding contraption that is built into his truck. There is a screen on the outside just so you can witness it being destroyed.
He gave me a document stating the destruction. I learned a little bit about the business, where the «confetti» was going and he even flattened my boxes and took it with him to be recycled as well!
Would highly recommend this company. I called three different places and taking into consideration of the convenience of them coming to me versus me driving my boxes to the location and the tiered pricing based on box count/​weight … they were the most reasonable. Don’t do what I tried to do and use a personal/​business shredder to do it … I went through half an inch of paperwork before the thing started jamming and smoking up.
