I was super disappointed in the staffs attitude and customer service when they forgot about my food, didn’t apologize or offer me anything and are like chickens running around with their heads cut off. Will never be back here and the owner should honestly step In and do something

Food was great… Service completely ruined it. Didn’t get greeted whatsoever and even when I went up to order he didn’t say a word. I asked a question and he answered like I was stupid. Second, I had to ask for my beer after waiting for 15 minutes and watching one of the workers SITAT A TABLEANDPLAYONHERPHONE. I also asked for my guac, which they also forgot to bring. They said they’d get it and never did until I asked AGAIN. Then brought me the wrong size. Sucks the service was so bad, the food was so good and well worth the price… Not after the service though.

My son and I came here on Taco Tuesday. We each tried 3 – 4 different kinds of tacos. I figured for a $ 1.50 each might as well try a mix. When the food came out, I immediately noticed the color of his taco shells compared to mine. My sons shells were a very light brown… mine were the color of milk chocolate. Yes they were burnt. I wasn’t about to get back in line and complain because I didn’t have the time nor the patience. I’m out on this place… Not impressed at all. Meh.

Great food and quick service. Just tried them for lunch, got free chips and we tried an enchiladas plate, a burrito and a torta. All delicious! Thank you.

The worst California Burrito ever. Period. The Carne Asada was pulverized to a bloody pulp. So much so, I swore it was ground beef. Maybe it was just prechewed for me? Bad Carne, French fries that are hiding, cold cheese, ice cold sour cream and guac, shoved in a cold tortilla. It doesn’t get any worse. This is a place for avoiding.

Great place for your Carne Asada fries & California Burrito, SoCal authentic! Shrimp Burrito is really good too! Okay indoor setup, but decent outdoor patio. Also Orange Bang & Horchata deliciousness. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area, Tuesday’s are obviously a great day to stop by and grab some tacos!!!

Far from authentic Mexican, but satisfactory American/Mexican food nonetheless. Good prices and large portions with quick service and nice staff. Overall, nothing really stands out about this place. I would go back only because of its convenient walking location from my house. They also offer taco Tuesday’s and Friday’s which is nice for those of us that don’t want to drink during the week on typical taco Tuesday’s.

We found this place on a stroll through the neighborhood and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love this place! If I could I would live off the chimichangas, the asada fries are great too. Outdoor seating is great if you have little ones or pets.

I’ve had this place twice, once for their carne asada burrito and once for their chorizo breakfast burrito. I enjoyed both very much. It isn’t a bad place when you crave Mexican food. I

This review is for tacos only… While I was at the vet that is just down the way(which btw is a great vet) the other day, I decided to stop in for a few tacos. There are a few different tacos available on the menu. Soft, hard and mexican. As far as I know all tacos are mexican. So I ordered one of each. The Mexican taco with chicken that I ate first was pretty good. It all kinda went down hill from there. The soft taco with carnitas was just okay. Lastly the hard taco with shredded beef was not so good. Greasy, not enough meat and not super tasty. The salsa bar was certainly adequate. Better Han most mexican places. The chips were way too salty though. Also there seemed to be a large crowd of teenagers swarming the patio. Going right after school let’s out might be a mistake unless you need a healthy dose of teen spirt and profanity. But I’ve had worse tacos…

I walked in and the décor was that of an inexpensive Mexican food joint. Kinda tacky but when the burritos are under $ 8 you can’t really complain. I ordered the California Burrito and my friend had a shrimp burrito, we each got a drink and the total was around $ 18. The CA burrito was ok, mostly French fries, minimal guac and sour cream. The meet was ok but bland. The chips are pretty good. I wouldn’t say the food is bad, but it’s definitely not the best. A bit disappointing but if your looking for cheap Mexican food this may be your place.

They are so conviently located that I wanted to like them. That’s why I gave them so many tries hoping to find something I like. My family and I have tried their flautas, enchiladas, tamales, carne asada tacos, fish tacos, kids bean burrito and corn dogs and were disappointed by all of them. The food was dry and ranged from bland to drowned in red pepper flakes. The only thing we tried that was ok were the Carne asada fries. I wouldn’t call their food horrible it just wasn’t that good and there are too many other options that are superior just a short distance away. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because they have very friendly and pleasant staff. Also, the restaurant is cute with a patio.

While I wouldn’t discount this place all together(the burrito was fine), I would just try something else before making that decision. I did love the menu options and the pictures made it look amazing but the food was just okay. I had the shrimp burrito and while the shrimp had good flavor, the cabbage ratio was off. It felt dry and was hard to eat. The salsa tasted like it was out of a jar and was extremely salty with no spice at all. I had gone off a Unilocal review for my order so I will still trust some other options… maybe it’s all about the california burrito or those carne asada fries. Time will tell.

After the owner reach out and invited me to retry their California burrito, I obliged and stopped by the other day. Much better this time around! The carne asada wasn’t dry and the french fries were normal this time(not overcooked«cajun» style ones I had last time). I was the only person there at the time, so there really was no wait. As a lover of California burritos, I’m very critical of them. Cali Tacos still reigns supreme in OC, but Great Mex Grill might get the nod for this side of the 405. I’d definitely stop by again for my fix.

Came here for taco Tuesday a few weeks ago. It was pretty packed when I came but I was able to find a table immediately. $ 1.50 for carne asada, chicken, etc tacos. They have mexican style tacos, soft tacos, and crispy tacos. Saw some other Unilocalers mention their crispy potato taco but they ran out when I came so I couldn’t try it. :(Anyways, all of their tacos are $ 1.50 except for the shrimp and fish ones are $ 2.25. I got the mexican street style tacos and I thought they were pretty good, but you can find better tacos elsewhere in the $ 1-$ 1.25 range. Definitely order some chips while you’re there because they have a pretty awesome salsa bar available. Final verdict is I’d come again only if I were in the area and wanted some tacos and cervezzaaaa. Lol. Definitely can’t beat a $ 7 pitcher!

I was hungry, so I decided to follow Unilocal reviews in this area and check this place out. I ordered the California Burrito. It hit the spot. But what made the experience better was the cashier Oscar. The service took a while and he made sure to check up on us. Even going out of his way to refill our chips. I would come here again to try something new.
