Best, most comfortable mattress EVER. Sleeping on my boat is now infinitely more comfortable and coddling than sleeping in my bed at home.

When it came time to purchase a new mattress I decided to go to Handcraft Mattress and I am so glad I did! They were very patient with me and took his time in answering my questions and letting me try out the different types of beds in their showroom until I was sure I found the one for ME! The customer service I received was exceptional and their expertise led me to the right choice… I couldn’t be happier on the selection I made! I have been sleeping like a baby, since it was delivered, and know that this quality bed will surely last. I can’t thank them enough for all of their time and patience in helping me make the right choice.
So, if you would like to crawl into a nice comfy bed at the end of a long day and simply fall into a wonderful night of sweet dreams… I would highly recommend you go to Handcraft Mattress!

Excellent customer service. The measurements for my custom mattress were perfect. The comfort is exceptional and sheets fit perfectly. Delivery was on time and the Handcraft Mattress staff were professional and courteous.

Great customer service from the beginning they came out and patterned my boat to confirm a true fit. I was given a quote early the next day. I was able to add some sheets and a mattress pad to my order. Comfort just like home! At the time of confirmation they asked for a deposit and the rest would be handled prior to delivery.
My husband is so happy that I actually enjoy coming to the boat now. Thank you to everyone at Handcraft for your follow through from the beginning of process to the delivery.
I was told that they will keep my pattern on file so that I can order more sheets. Great News! Will definitely order more in the future

before you buy anything from this company, be sure that you have a quote in your hand.
otherwise you’ll end up paying $ 1,500. for 4 sheets and 2 mattress pads.
i think, this company doesn’t make it easy to find out what you’ve spent.
i even had a problem getting an invoice though i had already paid for the sheets.
i believe there are more economical and apparent places to get fitted bedding.

I wish I can give 0 star for this company. LACK IN COMMUNICATION, apparently they forgot to send us either quote or an invoice until these charges start showing in our card statement. Be prepare to pay $ 1600 for 2 sets of sheets and mattress pad. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Handcraft Mattress is the place to go if you need a bed for your boat. We considered buying a standard bed or even cutting out our own bed from foam, but after a visit to Handcraft Mattress, we changed our mind.
They will come out to your boat, measure a template out and make a mattress to your liking. Yes its a little bit more than you would pay at a normal mattress store but its custom made for you! AND its even got a hinge in the middle to fold up the bed and access storage below (or to help you make the bed easier). They also make custom sheets too. We provided our own sheets which they cut to fit our new bed, they fit great now.
All and all we had a great experience with Handcraft Mattress, the whole ordering process to completion took about 2 weeks and our old junky bed was hauled away for free (Newport Beach).
If your looking for a boat bed or any bed for that matter, go see them! be sure to ask for Dave (he’s the owner).

Brian the guy we do service with is very friendly, but does not return your calls until you owe money. We paid in full for the mattress before it was made, I called several times over the next month to ask when our mattress was going to be completed, with the question asked back to me, «did you need this right away’». Which I replied, «it is not an emergency, but I was wondering when it was going to be ready». So he brought the mattress one day when we were out of town, and left the modified sheets without payment. Now I am getting calls from the office either him or his secretary, asking me if I received the bill, so I call and have one sent to me via e-​mail. imagine my surprise, when I see the bill and it is more than half the cost of my new mattress. The sheets with the cost from Bed, Bath and Beyond, and modification came out to cost 1850.00, the mattress cost was 1050.00, this seems a little bit left handed if you ask me.
The modification usually has tags on the top that say top or head, and the bottom, say bottom, or aft, The sheets have the tags Aft and head sewed together at the same place, this is the bottom fitted sheet. the bottom fitted sheet is the one that required the most modifying. The top sheet had to be shortened, after i was told to buy King sheets, but that was all that was required, the King spread was not modified at all. With that being said, there were three fitted sheets, and thee top sheets to be modified, this cost 800.00. I am still swept away by this price.
Brian also does not get his messages when important information is left. The mattress we have is beautiful, but we bought sheets to have modified for our new mattress, We spent 1050.00 0n the sheets to purchase them from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Then we paid 800.00 to have them modified, to fit our new mattress. I would expect that price from someone who did not have the dimensions of the new mattress, but this is the company that made the mattress. There was no call to me to let me know the sheets were going to cost more than half the mattress to modify, and the top sheet had to be shortened, after I was told to buy a king set. Maybe a queen would have been better advise.
