The food is nasty. The selection is tiny. It’s inexpensive. I really wasn’t happy that I had to walk through the ENTIRE second floor to get there. I felt like I was on a wild goose chase.

For convenience, 5 stars… food — 3 stars… service — 3 stars. Had the two hot dogs, chips, and drink combo for $ 2.50. Not bad! For price — 4 stars. The quality ain’t that great, but if you’re hungry after a day of shopping at ikea, this is a great pit stop before heading to the parking lot. They also had a pizza combo(pizza and soda) for $ 2.50. I believe they only had a cheese pizza available when I went. There are a few seats farther for dining, but they’re pretty high seats, so careful if you have toddlers or little ones with you!

I like the concept but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. I had the Swedish meatballs and they have an odd texture at times. Good prices and the selection is decent for a food place inside a furniture store I suppose. Plenty of seating inside.

Went to the bistro and worse experience ever! The lady at the cashier to me was nice and then gave me a bitchy attitude about the fact that I forgot to pay for my salad and she finally realized it ! Made me loose my appetite and all aspect of coming back here! WORSEEXPERIENCEEVERFORME!

The prices are amazing — 75c for large coffee. They make no money on this. The cinnamon buns are to die for.

Why is everything in IKEA so great? I mean, you’re in a furniture store and the food is amazing and really well priced. After a lot of shopping my bf and I decided to take a little break and order food. We ordered chicken strips with fries, and for $ 1 more we added 5 meatballs. The total was about $ 7 and definitely worth it. Everything was so good; the chicken was juicy and fries were crispy, and of course you have to eat the meatballs when you go there. Are there any people that go there just to get a snack? Because I totally would! Lol.

It’s nothing to rave about, but the food hits the spot & it’s cheap. There’s not much more to talk about. This café isn’t as nice as the one in Burbank for example, but it gets the job done and lines move quickly. I just wish there was more seating for those shoppers who want to get off their feet after a lot of walking around.

Alright, let’s get one thing straight. I’m obviously not rating a fine dining establishment or if it wasn’t clear then it should be now. This is definitely not the place you would do one or more of the following: — Have your first date here with someone. — Have any dates here with someone, unless you wanna get rid of them. — Make a reservation, get all dressed up with your hair and nails did then arrive in a limo. — Have high expectations from this place. I haven’t tried anything else from here besides their vanilla yogurt. It’s only $ 1.00(plus tax) and it does the trick of holding you off until you could get out of Ikea and find a good meal. The yogurt is delicious, tastes like ice cream/yogurt and it’s not a whole lot that you’d hate yourself afterwards. Since moving to OC, we’ve been hitting Ikea often on the weekends. You could say it has become a favorite past time(No, I’m kidding. We hate shopping, we hate driving, we hate crowds. It’s an awful time but we have to do it). Every time we go to Ikea, we walk past by here and give in to the temptation of having ourselves a dollar yogurt. Besides, we need the energy to be able to drive ourselves back home after dodging kids and shopping with a crowd all afternoon. They work fast, get your order and hand it to you within the minute. They handle long lines well. It’s literally, grab and go. Because the service is fast, I don’t notice anything else about this place which can be both a good and a bad thing.

Such cheap food! I can’t get over it. Ice cream is a good deal. So are the cinnamon rolls — do yourself a favor and get the 6-pack. Hot dogs are good but I’d stay away from the pizza. It tastes overwhelmingly like cardboard with cheese and oregano. And if you ever need to stock up on Swedish Fish, well you know where to go.

Cheap eats, no frills. Like Ikea itself, the food here looks great in photos or from far away, but upon closer inspection, it’s just something to tide you over until something better comes along.

Love Ikea and its bistro/Café. I would recommend their yogurt cone for 99 cents. You can not beat that. The Yogurt is sweet. I also love the market there where you can get IKEA’s famous Swedish meatballs to take home. I also recommend their hazelnut chocolate bars. The layout is nice and spacious. The Costa Mesa IKEA is my favorite in the US that I have seen to far.

It’s a little food place right next to, and after, the checkout line. They sell yummy cinnamon rolls here and strangely-named chocolate, as well as these weird non-alcoholic drinks in wine bottles? Regardless, food here is dirt cheap. Hot dogs are $ 0.50 and cinnamon rolls(if you don’t buy the 6-pack, which is like $ 4) are $ 1 each and piping hot. It’s not gourmet and it’s not fancy — it’s just a quick place to stop and grab some sustenance to fill your stomach so don’t expect 5-star food or service. It’s kinda like Costco’s food court, but cheaper and less yummy. Really, you get what you pay for. Never had any trouble with the employees here either. Yep, decent place for some food.

Very cheap snacks; and very satisfying, both for the mouth and the wallet. $ 1 ice cream, $ 2 for 2 hot dogs w/drink & chips, $.50 for a single hot dog. Too bad they don’t offer relish for the hot dogs. And don’t expect them to be Costco-sized hot dogs either.

Look. It’s a grab and go station inside an Ikea. Once you’ve gotten off your high horse, come on down and grab a fifty cent hot dog, dollar slice of pizza or a dollar fountain soda. We bought the girl a base model mattress for her new bed and instead of going across the street to CPK, popped in for an easier meal. We ordered three dogs, three slices, three sodas, and two soft serve cones for $ 10.75. I mean, c’mon… right?

Need a quick snack to power yourself for your Ikea shopping trip? Pop in here! Yes — technically the café is located by the exit. but that’s not to say you can’t walk right in the exit doors and pump yourself up with some goodies. Sure, the food isn’t probably on the Weight Watchers diet, but for a cheap snack, you can’t go wrong. Pizza slices for under $ 2 and a hot dog combo(2 hot dogs, chips and a drink) for also less than $ 2 — you really can’t go wrong! Yeah, maybe I’m a bit skeptical at how an all-beef hot dog costs 50 center(without the combo) — but if that’s a concern — go with the meatball, pizza or some other snack like froyo. No complaints!

I only come here for one thing: the frozen yogurt. It’s ridiculously delicious, and ridiculously cheap. Oddly, there’s like two versions of their fro-yo. One machine makes it all creamy and gooey and white(which is the kind I like), but sometimes the workers will use this other fro-yo machine that produces like this weird, beigy, really tart kind of fro-yo that I don’t like as much. When I talked to the workers, they claim that it’s the same recipe — just different machines and ergo, different fro-yo. Try to avoid the beigy froyo!

Can I just give this place 0 stars? 50 cents for a hot dog is too good to be true. Sure, it’s a great deal, but considering that you might get«the runs» afterwards isn’t worth it. I’m never taking that risk here again.

How can you not like 50cent hot dogs?! This little bistro is right on the way out, so you can grab a snack before you head home. The hot dogs are great; I actually like them better than Costco’s. Maybe because they’re small in size and cost. The Costco ones are a bit too meaty for me. Anyway, everything is ridiculously cheap here. They serve cinnamon rolls, frozen yogurt, pizza, coffee and hot dogs. The cinnamon rolls are kinda meh, but the frozen yogurt and hot dogs are my favorite. I haven’t had the pizza yet, but I’m sure it’s good too! Strangely enough, the drinks($ 1) here are cheaper than the Restaurant upstairs($ 1.49) and you get a to-go cup versus a glass cup upstairs. You get the same selection of drinks so you might as well pick up a cup on your way in and pick up a refill on your way out. :)

Seriously, if you’re going to b1tch about a $ 1 hotdog, then you’ve got more important mental issues to deal with. Sure the hotdog may not be the best, but for a $ 1, are you expecting the works? If you’re hungry, get the $ 1 hotdog and a soda, and gain some energy for walking around the store or heading home with all of your packages.

If you can stand waiting in line behind a bunch of dumb-asses(and TRUSTME… there WILL be dumb-asses in front of you)… you will be treated to the best deal you can find on the way out of a store in all of OC! Hot Dog– 50 cents 2 Hot Dogs, Chips & soda– $ 2.50 Frozen Yogurt(any flavor you want… as long as it’s Vanilla!) — $ 1 Cinnamon Roll– $ 1 Soda– $ 1 Coffee– 75 cents After the extremely annoying shopping experience you more-than-likely just had at IKEA, treat yourself to some cheap goodness on the way out the door! Grab a couple hot dogs, a cinnamon roll and a fro-yo on your way out! YUM! I’m just sayin.
