Is this a fraud or joke? You name it. But for now, I would like share my experience to save you some trouble, if they don’t have your size in store, do not hand them your credit card and let them order and ship to you, you might have a nightmare. I wanted to buy a pair of shoe in the store, and they did not have my size, so the sales Antoinette took my credit card, made a copy of my credit card, asked for my billing address and shipping address, then she made the order for me, she said I can receive it in 1 business day. 2 days later, I did received my shoe ATMYHOME, I was happy about it. Then I saw my credit card statement have 2 same transaction by intermix, 1 was already posted, another one was still pending from different intermix location. I made an alert on the pending transition. A day later, the second intermix charged also posted, I immediately called my credit card to dispute it. I thought intermix store double charged me. My credit card company started an Investigation towards my dispute, and said about couple of weeks I will get a answer from intermix. Days later, when I look for a business package in my office storage, I discovered a box came from intermix in MYOFFICE. Guess what, that was a pair of exactly same shoes! It must be a joke! the sales probably made a mistake that double charge, double shipped. But when you put all things together, it didn’t make sense: they made 2 charges on my credit card from 2 different intermix stores(stated clearly in my credit card statement) to ship to my 2 different address(my shipping address and my billing address). That means the sales must used my credit card second time without my permission made a whole new order using a different shipping address which is my billing address, it shouldn’t be just an accident or mistake. So I waited what my credit card investigation would discover. Then even worse, When my credit card contacted intermix, they told my credit card that because there are 2 transactions invoice, therefore I made this 2 purchases. In order to check their own problem, they easily blamed the customer. Well, my first ever dispute experience was not as easy as I thought. I had to deal with this nonsense during my fully scheduled meetings! The amount of the time and effort I spent on this nonsense worth much more than the pair of shoes. I had to call my credit card, explained over and over, submitted the copy of the ordering receipt… Wonder what if I don’t have the receipt, they might say I had a memory loss? I shop in Neiman Marcus, Saks all the time, their customer service is always amazing. Lesson learned.

I LOVE the clothes in this store, but the probem is with the woman melissa who works here(I think she is a manager). This woman is a nightmare. She is straight up rude and disresepctful to customers and is just angry all the time. I used to come here literally 2 times a week but when I see her in the store I walk straight out because she isn’t worth the trouble to work with. I also see her holding clothes in the back when people WANTTOBUYTHEM!!! And then she acts like they’re for special people only. Hello, if people want to buy the clothes let me buy them. Money is money and I hope her boss’s know she is losing their store money. Hopefully management cleans house and gets this woman gone!

Probably my go-to store when in the OC! Soooooo much better than the Robertson Blvd location where the employees never stop to help. I know many who have complained about that location to corporate. But this one is greeeaaat! The employees are always ready to help and are so funny and amazing. I had an event to go to, so I brought in the coat I was going to wear and asked what they suggested I wear with it. They gave me so many options and the outfit turned out fantastic with a Rag and Bone blouse and jeans. Love Intermix SCP!

I love intermix and always shop on their online store but their boutique at south coast plaza has the best fashion forward pieces. Ohhhh I love this store and cannot leave with just one piece!

I tend to stick to large department stores like Nordstroms and Bloomingdales because i like their customer service and merchandise selection. However I went to intermix with my cousin and I found the staff very friendly. I was not in any fancy clothes, but instead in crop jeans, black t-shirt, converse shoes, and a beenie. I definitely didn’t look like the customers that were there that day. That is why I was surprised about how nice they were. I picked some items and my sales girl even paired the outfits for me by the time I was in the dressing room. My sales girl even had recommendations which I would not have pulled. I had a great experience and some amazing pieces/outfits. I thought all of the sales people were good… however, Kelcey, was A+++.

Beautiful and unique items and incredible services! I got a belt from the store 2 weeks ago. They had to special order it 3 times since I could not get the size right. Britney has been very patient with me and she has gone extra miles to call me and email me about my returns and refund, so and so on. I feel guilty about having caused so much trouble for such a small item, but their great attitude makes me feel welcome. The staff are warm, attentive yet not pushy. You just feel very relaxed in that atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this place.

This Intermix has never impressed me. In Fact, I think they cut back on the square footage of the store. They just have never caught on here like they have in NYC or even Vegas. I came in last night and while the merch still has a lot to be desired, I received such great service from the 2 boys working. I can only imagine if they had some really GREAT stuff to work with how much they could sell. I also wish I could take them out shopping to all of the stores. They were that good.

I usually shop at the Intermix in NYC, but I did however stop by this one. The selection here SUX! Maybe Intermix in general has become a BORE, but this one is absolutely putting me to sleep. Did I mention the RUDE sales girls! The brunette was actually really nice and helpful, but the blonde is a nightmare with a real snippy attitude and the Korean girl(TOTALLYAGREEWITHFELLOW UnilocalLERHELEN Y in regards to customer service and the Korean sales girl) that works there apparently thinks she’s better than everyone else. I’d rather wait to shop in the NY anyways. This place not only bores me to death, but really puts me in a crappy mood as well.

So I haven’t been to this Intermix in over a year… and the salesperson who had helped me in 2006(I bought 2 pairs of shoes from him) remembered me as soon as I stepped into the store. He yelled my name and ran over to give me a hug. He knew because of my shoes. HAHA. Good salesperson! His name is Chris. He was the only male employee, and 2 years ago I was fortunate enough to be helped by him. He always called me when new items came in that I might be interested in, and called me once there were sales on items I was interested in. He was always ready to grab you another size, or show you every single thing he liked, but never pushy. Anyways we chatted for a long time, and he commented that he was interested in moving to LA and maybe transferring to the LA store. Unfortunately I had to tell him the merchandising in the LA store is horribly poor and the salesgirls are extremely bitchy and snobby. The merchandise is pretty much the same, anyhow, except the racks are spaced more reasonably apart at the South Coast Plaza store. If you ever go down to SCP and drop by the Intermix store, don’t be intimidated by all the weird and design-y pieces. And don’t think that just because you’re not toting around your Fendi Selleria bag that you won’t be helped. Just ask for Chris, and he will definitely help you without rolling his eyes or looking you up and down.

i love intermix but this one has poor customer service. to the asian sales girl that worked there… why don’t you help a sister out? why do you have to be so pretentious? i was admiring her alisha levine star dress and was happy to know that they had it in the store but unfortunately not in my size. she then offered to get me a similar top in my size but somehow never came back? i was waiting in my dressing room but no check up. where did you go? oh she was busy helping someone else. i quietly left the store and splurged on a dress at theory instead. i may just have to get this star dress online instead.
