Cute shop and location. Four tastes for $ 5; the wines we tasted ranged from $ 12 — $ 19, and were delightfully poured in big, clean, attractive stemmed wine glasses — however, nothing we felt we had to go home with on this particular day. Amazingly friendly and welcoming staff!

Love this place… classes pretty steep, but worth it. Love the membership they offer and HH ;-)

This place is a hidden gem located across from the Chuck Jones Gallery as part of the SoCo Collection in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa. They feature many different wines from France, Spain, Italy etc which really differentiates them from Hi Times Wine Cellars. Many different styles of grapes like Tempranillo, Chenin Blanc and Zweigelt. We come here because you can find great wines at great prices. Prices range from $ 20-$ 30 dollars a bottle and the staff is very friendly/knowledgeable not pretentious. Now they have happy hour on Fridays from 6pm-9pm. We’ve gone twice and have had a great time tasting many different wines that we would not have had the opportunity to do so. Quiet location but if there’s a crowd, things can take off like the first chapter in Sideways.

LCA carries the best wines in Orange County. Me and my SO took a class here with Peter Neptune and we can’t look at wine the same way, haha we want the best, but that is ok because we can get it at LCA. We just joined their wine club, which is super cool and it costs $ 35 a month in which you can try different wines every 3rd Friday of the month and you choose 2 bottles from your tasting. They also have tasting on the weekends, which are free for Wine Club members. This friday will be our first tasting with the Wine Club and I am super excited. Everyone who works is really nice and very knowlegable about the wines they carry. Wine purchasing can be a bit intimidating, but don’t let that stop you from experiencing great wine.

This is a great wine shop with affordable wines from all over the world. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The best part is the $ 5 wine tastings on Saturdays! You get to try 4 wines and every time I’ve gone they have thrown in a bonus wine taste!!! Such a great shop will be back soon! Cheers!

I finally found my wine shop! Nancy and Carie are very friendly and welcoming. It is so refreshing to go in to a shop that is unpretentious and carries a good selection of wines that are of great value! They have a nice selection of wines from around the world: French, Italian, Spanish and much more. We picked up a few bottles of Sancerre, Dolcetto d’alba, and a Rose that we’re excited to open and enjoy!

I just finished the«Wine Basics for Consumers» course with Chef Laurent Brazier. It took place over three Tuesday evenings, covering a different region or regions each night:(1) France,(2) Italy, Spain and Germany,(3) New World. Every night you get to taste six different wines that go with the lecture, and Chef helps you judge the color, aromas, flavors, and levels of acidity and tannins. I have taken wine classes elsewhere in the past, but these were far more interesting and informative. Chef really knows his stuff!(I think this course is great for complete novices as well as for people such as myself who know a bit about wine but want to learn more.) My friend and I took the course together, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.(The only thing we didn’t like about it is that it ended! Boo!) I really hope they add a second level of basic classes for consumers(with Chef Laurent!). I know that everybody who was in our class would sign up! The wine shop itself carries a good selection of wines, and the people who work there are very friendly.

Great class! I attended the Wine Basics for Consumers Class with my husband and we really learned a lot about the basics of wine, regions and tasting. Laurent is also very knowledgeable about wine.

I’ve stopped in here a few times and have always liked the wine tasting. Their setup has mainly French varietals, but they do have a good amount from CA, Spain, Italy, and the West Coast in general. They also offer wine tasting classes, which I have not yet partaken. The tastings on Saturdays are simple, informal, and informative. I had an interesting Riojo this past visit that I couldn’t place the nose I was getting. Turns out it was aged in American oak, which had a hint of dill. Leads to many possibilities for food pairing. This knowledge will definitely stick. Nice people and wine. Can’t be beat. Salut!
