Wow what an awesome store this is what South Coast Plaza has been needing for a long time, its like walking into a museum that you can actually affordably buy an art piece within reason. You don’t have to be a art buff to know when you see something of quality ! When I entered the gallery I was approached by Karen the gallery manager, what a great experience, she educated me on the the pieces that I was interested in and gave me the greatest customer service. I look forward to coming back and adding to my new collection Cheers

First found the San Francisco store but I am delighted Liuli has moved to Orange county. This is a one of a kind experience. Entering this store is like stepping into a beautiful oasis. The glass sculptures are breathtaking — truely a gift to the spirit. Each piece captivates you. And you are never disturbed by the salespeople. They want you to enjoy the beauty of the art work and will only come to your side if you wish their assistance. I had previously purchased a unique necklace which held a glass sculptured water lily. I went into the store today for earrings to wear with the necklace. I found two lovely pairs of earrings and couldn’t be happier. I know I will never see anyone else wearing my earrings. When you are at South Coast — walk into this store as a treat to yourself.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww… this store is DAZZLING. In fact, I don’t know what word would aptly describe the glass art that sits on the store shelves like museum-quality pieces. Everything is absolutely stunning !! Liuli is the phonetic spelling of the Han Dynasty term for«glass art.» What’s more is that the two artists who have revived this ancient, 2,000 year old art of «lost-wax casting» take 6 – 8 months of planning and require a 12-step process for completion of EACH piece. To see it in person is truly a mind-blowing experience, and while I enjoy my photographs, they don’t do the glass art justice. South Coast Plaza is a high-end shopping mall, so it isn’t surprising that a store of this caliber is HERE. The prices of the Liuli pieces are knock-your-socks-off expensive… so far removed from anything I could afford, but they very graciously allowed me to photograph as much as I wanted, so now, I share them with you. It is worth going to this mall just to see these amazing works of art. Honestly, my photos don’t do these pieces justice, but if they even poke at your curiosity, go see them with your own eyes. Just stunning.

This store opened on April 6, 2015, which hubby and I have been looking forward to see. We’ve seen Liuli’s items in the Bowers Museum, as well as the gallery/store front in the Brea Mall. As before, everything is impeccable. Very clean, very organized. The themes are still precedent here as it is in Brea Mall, with the more nature-esque statues near the front, zodiac items in a centralized location, the bigger pieces on one entire side, and the more religious ones near the back. No two pieces are alike, as the glass colors and small nuances are all hand-done. What I like is that the customer service isn’t bad. I wasn’t sure if the hubby or I would be look down upon because of our t-shirt and jeans attire(we’ve been looked down before), but the service was fine. Please do not touch the statues without having one of the employees help you out! The glass is delicate, and the oils on your fingertips do affect the art! Definitely very nice to see something more artsy in South Coast Plaza. Prices are reasonable for the work of art that you’d be purchasing. Hubby and I have our eyes on the zodiac figures. Too cute!
