Kali is amazing for color, especially blonde. And she gave me an amazing a line short cut after having very long hair and I loved it… which is hard to do!

I took my son Max here last week to get his hair cut with Cristina Merino, and I can say that in his 10 years of life, this is by far the best hair cut he has ever had! She did a wonderful job, listened to him and gave him what he wanted. The price is great and the salon is very welcoming. I highly recommend Cristina!

Cristina Merino is awesome. She was able to cut my hair exactly how I wanted, and she can do an awesome fade better than my last barber! If you live in the Newport/​Costa Mesa area, definitely go see Cristina for your men’s (and women’s) haircuts and other services.

Cristina Merino is amazing! I have had the same hairdresser for years and was afraid to try someone new. I was so glad I decided too because I was so impressed with the end result. She layered my hair exactly how I wanted it which is hard to do with my fine, thin hair. She really listens to the look that you want, and has excellent pricing! Go see Cristina! You won’t be disappointed.

Nicole is the best. She was formerly at Splitendz and she is the curly haired girls savior! She has the best personality, is diligent, educated and offers up an amazing haircut at a more than reasonable price. She’s done my color a bunch of times as well and is always very careful about listening to what I want and taking the time to make sure I get it. She is an amazing listener (if you explain yourself, she will give you what you want), but is also great at talking about what is actually possible (no curly haired girl you can’t have betty page bangs).
Hands down, Nicole is the best.

Went here today for the first time and loved it! I had Dean do my hair and he did a fabulous job! I had breast cancer and lost my long blonde hair and now trying to get used to a short haircut. Just don’t know what to do with it but wanted to do something fun before I grew it long. So Dean dyed it pink and shaved it a bit so it looked cute. I’m going to keep coming here and seeing Dean. He is great! This is a great place and everyone is super nice and inviting. They also offered me a drink while I sat under the dryer.

The prices are fair especially for Costa Mesa/​Newport area. I always go to Jill Guin, she’s literally a hair artist. She can mix whatever color you want to a T, and her cuts are the best I’ve ever had, EVER! Call her next time you need a color, she’s ultra friendly and does a hell of a job! Her assistant Amanda is wonderful and very helpful to Jill. Last time I went in was for the practice run on my wedding hair and we had a blast figuring out different styles.
Overall, I like the feel of this salon: the receptionist is always nice and offers you a glass of wine while you’re waiting, there’s a good selection of magazines to read while you’re under the dryer and it is CLEAN. I wholeheartedly recommend Magnolia, it’s great.

Dean is amazing!
He is a hair magician, creates beautiful hair and makes it a fun and comfortable experience.
When I leave the salon I feel beautiful and happy. He is a stylist with great taste and will only do what’s best for your hair and lifestyle.
He uses Balayage hair coloring technique. It’s a freehand… it made my Ombré look natural and fierce!
Salon has great energy, very bright, newly remolded.
