Laurel is the ultimate professional. Her spray tans are the BOMB — much more natural-​looking than ANY other spray tans I’ve ever had. Her salon is impeccably clean and she is always on time with her appointments. Can’t wait to go for a facial!

I’m guessing if you’re on Unilocal you’re like me and NEED to read reviews before trying an unknown place. Well, if you’re even more like me you’re a bit of a skeptic when it comes to trusting these said reviews. People mostly find the need to say something when they have an extreme of emotions, they either love it or hate it.
I’m honestly in a place of high happiness. How can I not be? Laurel is amazing.
Today was my first time going here, I was a bit nervous because trusting someone with your face, (I went in for eyebrows), is a big decision. Laurel was very welcoming and quickly put my mind at ease. Her calm vibes cooled me down and made me feel comfortable. She had light, «get-​to-​know-​you» conversation, which made the process that much better. Towards the end I had been so relaxed I felt like I was just talking to a friend. She consulted me about my brows before we started and her 14yrs of experience shone like a ray of light.
I can’t imagine going anywhere else. She has a customer for life.

This was the best place I have ever been to get my eyebrows waxed!!! Laurel is absolutely amazing and so sweet. She was very gentle and caring for my skin. It is by appointment only but totally worth it. I have been getting my eyebrows for 10 years now and this was the first time I have ever looked forward to getting them done again. I really want to try out her facials!

Laurel is AMAZING! I have been a regular customer of Mem & Lulu’s Powder Room for years and have always tried and trusted the services. Recently I added permanent eyeliner… LOVE IT! I trust her and highly recommend all of the services.

Now I’ve moved onto other parts to wax & I feel so comfortable around L! Can’t wait to start spray tan!!!

This place is awesome! Laurel is very good at what she does and always takes her time to do quality work. I go to her for facials and waxing and I love the results every single time. I once went to a pedicure place for my eyebrow waxing and it did not really turn out like I was hoping… picture one eyebrow way higher than the other one without me raising it. Scary! I ONLY let Laurel touch my eyebrows now! On the rare occasion where I get a gift card (she has those too!) for a facial, I just sit back and relax and let her take care of me. She knows exactly what my skin needs. The shop is small, cozy and very, very clean. Plus this lady is crafty and makes awesome soap, headbands and cards with recycled fabrics. Amazing! Highest of recommendations!!!

Laurel at the Powder Room is awesome! I’ve been going to her for at least five years… eyebrow waxes and microdermabrasions. She’s always very helpful at suggesting treatments and everything always looks great. Highly recommended.

I looooooove Laurel! She is a one woman show, and she does everything, from facials to hair removal to permanent make-​up. I’ve been going to her for years. She’s another beauty-​related professional that I think is awesome.
She makes you feel so comfortable, which is so important, especially when she’s working on your… ahem. bikini line.
She’s also very honest and I always feel like she only has my best interests in mind… she never tries to upsell me.
She’s also very good about hygiene… which is super important to me because I’m very anal and a bit of a germophob!
