I don’t know what I would do without Mother’s. Best organic produce. Best organic juice bar. Every vitamin & supplement you could ever need. Tons of healthy food options for my family. I don’t even bother with regular grocery stores anymore.

Came in with a group of good friends and Francisco was spot on as always. Chili and cornbread were fresh and tasty. The rest of the crew is quite nice and helpful too.

Juice bar, restaurant, AND healthy groceries! I absolutely love this place, it has everything I like in a health food store. Awesome service all around and my personal favorite, plenty of awesome to-​go prep food for the day. Mothers market in my opinion is better than any whole foods!

I love Mothers!
The prices are good, the staff is knowledgable and extremely helpful, and they try new «stuff» all the timr which is what I love about independent «not corporate» type health food stores. They’ve grown over the years to 8? Stores, but they still have the family vibe. They are very careful about ingredients, so I know I can trust what’s in the store! I’m trying very hard to avoid GMOS, and shopping at Mothers makes it much easier to avoid them. the restaurant is outstanding, everything they serve is GREAT.

Ordered Iced coffee that was so white with cream it tasted like a cup of milk. They said they would fix it, so then they gave me a small cup of iced coffee instead of the regular size… third time is a charm? Nope! Same size, same color and amount of cream. A big part of customer service is LISTENING TO MY ORDER.

Love mothers market, I always come here to get my essential oils and other organic goodies for my job. Last time I went in I got some food and Carlos was super helpful and even went out of his way to help me find some items while I was there. Excellent service and tidy store.

This place is my go-​to at any time of day. The restaurant has a million incredible vegan dishes and they even serve breakfast all day! My favorite items include their homemade biscuit, vegan quesadilla, springtime salad, and tofu scramble. Love Love Love!!!

The Irvine and Laguna Woods store personnel are so much nicer without attitude. Irvine location was so helpful when I wanted to order 6 of one item and the manager offered the suggestion that I buy it by the case and save 10%. I also have done that with the sporttea I drink. The Costa Mesa location never even offered that, and when I needed to return to buy more of this particular product, I called first to see if they had it, and I could barely understand the rude freezer section employee when I had asked if the product had come in. He answered with a quick «no» and basically hung up on me. I’ll go to the Irvine location from now on, even if it is a little further.
On a positive note, the chain itself is good with quality products. Costa Mesa, take heed about your employees attitudes.

Absolute favorite grocery store. Obviously prices are going to be a little higher than average grocery store. They carry great reputable brand foods and support local farmers. The produce is always super fresh and have awesome guac. They also carry my favorite sparkling Yerba matte tea and stumptown coffee. Their juice bar is the best, deli is packed full of delicious food and everyone that works there is pretty down to earth. No pompous attitudes which is nice!

Oh, and some Sunday’s they have live music playing in the back by the restaurant! Rad!

This location has a large selection, great quality organic produce and knowledgeable staff in the vitamin/​supplement section. I’d like to see gluten free Manna bread (they do have the regular Manna bread) and coconut cashew Manna butter carried at this Mother’s. Subtract one star for the terrible parking lot cluster with too narrow spots and rows.

Great vegetarian items and a good meal occasionally. Food decent and healthy. Just wonder if they actually have a restaurant manager? Some great staff, others wander around aimlessly and you can never get their attention to place an order or get the bill. Dishes vary in size, salsa is great or not, hot, or super hot; you never get consistency from day to day. Took them 3 years to add date on their bill receipts so you can keep track. I’ll be back but wish someone was managing to keep up the quality every day… also wish they would re-​open their outdoor dining area.

Mothers is the best. Think whole foods with reasonable prices and without pretentious people. The café is amazing. My favorites are «celia’s breakfast bowl» and the «nut loaf.» So good. Green juices are also a very reasonable price. You get a sense that the people who work here love the product/​brand, as they should. Finally, the customer service is exceptional. Dylan in the café stands out but everyone is really stellar! Much thanks!

Only complaint is how wasteful this place actually is! Mother, what is this? Here i go, trying to be environmentally conscious, but the employees (super nice, btw) keep giving plastic things eventhough i tried telling them not to, i.e. dining in, please put them all in one plate. None of that part of my requests was heard.

This Mother’s is huge. I usually don’t shop at this one as the store is busy and parking spots are narrow. But they have everything– Quorn Turky Burgers (hard to find).
Employees are nice and helpful.
I also visited the juice bar for the special of the day/​month — Apple and Ginger.

It’s beautiful. It’s convenient. The staff is super happy and helpful. They have everything a health nut, healthy hipster or OC mom could want as to gluten free, organic, probiotic, gorgeous produce, food made to order, smoothies and juices, natural cleaners, toothpastes without fluoride, natural cosmetics, lots of interesting scents, candles, soaps, flowers and gifts.
They have a very clean restroom.
Stuff I buy here: coconut water, Chimes ginger candies, Morning Star Japanese incense, Glee gum, non-​fluoridated toothpastes, produce, dried mushrooms, flowers, cards and gifts.

Oh Mothers! What would I do without you?
This is the remodeling of the first Mothers I knew about, and they did a superb job because this store is pretty big, has a nice café inside and has a wider variety of items than other stores (i.e. Santa Ana)
Also they have some cool workshops and conferences free of charge, strongly recommended!
If everything is so great why not 5 stars?
Even though the employees are helpful they are not nearly as attentive as the ones in Santa Ana or Huntington Beach. Maybe Is the influence of all the Newport Nancies that shop over there (thanks Donald S for this useful saying)
Of course that doesn’t bother me, it’s just a fair warning in case you like or dislike NN, or prefer a more attentive service.
