People are not to friendly. No hello, or thank you. if it wasnt for the prices and the awesome butcher counter id give them a 1. Employees need to have some customer service training.

As grocery stores go this is my place when I work out in the OC. They are super close to my job and have a nice selection of healthy pre-packed salads and drinks. This is one of the benefits of being located in a nicer area. The employees are pretty nice and the bathroom is always clean.

i dont know if it’s bad luck on my behalf or a problem no one talks about… I always find myself returning something to the store due to rotten food… 3 times in a row in one week I brought back mission tortillas, i’ve brought back bread, and bad milk… now the manager or employees who helped me with an exchange were very pleasant, so i don’t want to take the customer service away from them. They own up to the issue but don’t seem to fix the problem… Many times(depending on the item and the price) I chalk it up to a bad purchase and toss it… So i trek to the competitor on harbor, while it’s an extra drive, it’s worth it… Also what’s the panhandlers out front over there? Makes for an uncomfortable experience right off the bat…

I really appreciate good old stater brothers. They don’t have silly club cards and i noticed their prices are pretty low/fair compared to other supermarkets such as Ralphs, Vons, etc. Super good service at this Stater Bros in CM.

This Stater Bros is okay and has some good prices however I went to go buy some yogurt dip and every single container was open. I went to find someone to see if they had any more in the back and I showed them all the containers were popped open. They said they’re getting a new shipment on Friday and left all the popped open containers on the shelf. Gross.

I like Stater Bros. better than all the other grocery stores combined. Well, Henry’s is way cool too, but I can’t afford to do my regular shopping there. Staters generally has a great meat department with fair prices(as opposed to Vons or Ralphs). I monitor their ads and often get a huge top sirloin, enough for two meals for $ 3.00. Take that Outback Steakhouse! Their produce is fresh and cheap. Some items are in weird places, especially if you’re looking for hot sauces, or sauces of any kind for that matter. They could be in several different aisles. Be aware that there’s plenty of old people blocking your way at this location, much more so than the HB location. The cashiers ring up my goods just fine, which is all I look for in a grocery cashier.

My boyfriend and I went here for groceries for the first time just because we got an ad in the mail with a coupon for 4 different boxes of cereals for $ 5. This is the cleanest, less crowded, and friendliest(service and patrons included) one I have ever been to.
