We Heart Froyo

Tried the strawberry shortcake tonight. They got it to us in less then 2 minutes which is pretty awesome. It was super yummy just don’t think it was $ 7 yummy. I’m definitely down to try more things from them tho.

This is the first frozen yogurt truck that I have ever seen in socal and they definitely do not dissapoint. Depending on the day, you can choose up to two flavors. One being usually a healthy vanilla and the other a well thoight of other flavor ranging from chocolate, strawberry lemonade, mango and even plain tart. After that you get to choose from a wide variety of toppings that will suit your needs in a perfect dessert. Beside frozen yogurt, they also sell floats, parfaits, sodas and some amazing delicacys. Definitely worth the price (set price, not by weight) and a freindly service. Check it out when its near by.

As most of you parents know getting a child to choose what they want from a menu can take forever. Tino was amazing! He was so patient with my son, so sweet and very attentive. The yogurt was delish! Very fortunate that my apartment complex has them come often for a late night snack. Very impressed with the service and prices. You guys definitely need to go on Food Truck Wars.

At yesterday’s Roach Coach Roundup, I came across this truck and after grabbing a quick bit to eat for dinner I was craving something sweet. The menu online seems far larger in flavors and options than the one on the truck but I assume that the flavor change daily.
During my visit the choices were a bit sparse but I was still excited to give them a try. I decided to go with the Non-​Fat Country Vanilla Yogurt (regular size) with Strawberries, Blackberries and Granola. The website states that a regular size comes with 2 toppings while a large comes with 3 but at this event it was 3 for a regular and 5 for a large so this too may vary by event or has changed and the site hasn’t been updated. The country vanilla yogurt was delicious and by far one of the better vanilla’s I have had. The fruit was fresh and tasted great but it could have used a bit more blackberries to even out the ratio. The granola was the perfect accompaniment to the fruit and gave it that small bit of crunch I like.
The yogurt itself was $ 5 for a regular and $ 7 for a large which is a bit high to me. I could have went down to my local yogurt shop and make a large with more toppings for a cheaper price but for a food truck the price is on point with the other dessert trucks. The one thing that irked me a bit was the .50 cent charge to use a card as this is not posted (at least anywhere I saw) on the truck. Every other truck at the event uses the same credit card swiping devices (square etc…) and they do not charge a fee so this is a bit of a disappointment as it makes the already slightly high price even higher.

Overall a great tasting treat from a quality Froyo truck but despite this I do not see myself as a regular here due to the cost and the inconsistent amount of toppings.

The Creamy Red Float, $ 6.50 is must-​try! Made with Boyland’s Creamy Red Birch Beer, it tastes just like an old fashioned root beer or cream soda float but with a sharp, minty bite to it with hints of wintergreen oil. Delicious, creamy and refreshing! Moreover, you get the float with half a bottle of the specialty soda still left.
Other choice of floats include the Orange Dream, Dang’s Root Beer, Dang’s Butterscotch Root Beer and even the option to create your own.
Their frozen yogurt choices include Non-​Fat Country Vanilla, Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet, Chocolate Carmel Turtle, Salted Corn, Red Velvet Cake, Mango Tango Sorbet, New York Cheese Cake and as many as 20 choices of toppings.
A regular sized cup comes with two toppings and a large comes with three toppings.
Their other popular treats include the strawberry shortcake, parfait, froyo sandwiches and the waffle special.
I look forward to trying a number of these tasty treats and definitely will be back to try another one of their delicious floats!
