Great store — awesome selection of spices, lentils, and everything else you need for Indian cooking! Considering how small the store is, I got everything from drumsticks to urad dal to fresh okra and eggplants. The lady who works in the store was super friendly and I’m happy to have found this store since I normally went to Fremont for my Indian groceries! Don’t be fooled by the 3.5 stars — it’s a 5 star place!!! Some people prefer to make a stink over a small charge to use a credit card instead of understanding that it’s hard for small businesses to pay big fees to credit card companies!

EDIT: 11÷5÷2011 — I would like to dispute the other reviewer who disparaged the sweet Indian lady that works at the store. She is very sweet and helpful. Did you know that she is Indian(the owner is not) and comes from a long line of vegetarians? I imagine there are generations of vegetarians in her family going back for at least 100+ years. Impressive! I am not a vegetarian anymore btw. The other WONDERFUL thing about this store, besides being the only Indian grocery store in Sonoma County is that they have handmade paneer cheese by Desi Paneer that is fantastic. They also carry the regular brand that is everywhere in most Indian stores with a purple label. Oh and be sure you spend at least $ 10 in the store otherwise bring your cash/checks.
