I eat here a lot it’s a great location for us and the food’s consistently good. I love the smell when you walk in. Bar-​B-​Q is very good, the sauce isn’t Dreamland good but what is? The ribs are hit or miss, the smoked chicken is good, the baked beans are outstanding.

We were looking for some good BBQ so of course I went to
! We were kind of in a hurry so we chose a place with the highest rating and close by. We naturally saw The Pottery Grill at the top of the list. We made the short drive to Cottendale and met the sweetest lady working the counter. She was Awesome and the best part of the experience. Sadly to say we purchased five 1 meat dinners with 2 sides and took it to our destination. The aroma of this bbq was so incredible that it was extremely difficult to have it in the car for the 40 minute drive. Once we got to our destination we dug into the great smelling bbq. This was one of the biggest let downs of my bbq consuming life! The ribs were over cooked to the point of chewy and swimming in some type of runny sauce. The baked beans were good as well as the cole slaw. This being the case we can only allow a 3 Star Rating.

Pottery grill is great! I was on a road trip with my girlfriend and another couple traveling from New York to New Orleans and we wanted to try a local food spot on our way down to get a taste of southern hospitality and cooking. We came across here just by chance and we were not disappointed! Wally behind the counter made us feel very welcome and seemed genuinely excited to have us there, taking the time to talk to us and tell us all about the location. The food was delicious and filling. We took pictures and left with great memories. If I’m ever in the area again I will be sure to stop by.

Great BBQ and good value. If you’re looking for healthy food, not your best choice, but great for getting your Southern BBQ and fries fix! Thursday is Karaōke night!
