This store was a lifesaver to me when I used to work nearby. The staff is genuinely helpful, but not in that annoying way that some places do.
One cashier, Triniti, recognized me from years ago and has always greeted me with smiles and competent help, along with pleasant conversation. (she should get a raise)…the other employees have always been great too.
This is a good example of a well run, well stocked hardware store.

Their customer service is second to none and availability of products is always great.

It was hot today and while driving home from Red Bluff to Cottonwood my car started to overheat. Upon arrival at the house I noticed my radiator drain plug had sprung a leak. I quickly jumped in my other vehicle to get over to Napa to pick up the part before closing time. Unfortunately they didn’t have it so I decided to check out Ace Hardware before driving all the way to Anderson to check other auto parts stores.
I was promptly greeted by the clerk at Ace and she quickly sent me to speak with their plumbing expert. I told him about my situation and showed him my old radiator plug. He said they didn’t have something exactly like it but we could put together a few thing’s that would get me fixed up. He gave me a small length of rubber hose (no charge), a brass plug, and 2 hose clamps. Then took the time to explain exactly what to do to fix the radiator on my vehicle. He even said he’s done the same fix himself in the past. The whole thing cost under 4 bucks and saved me having to go into Anderson or Redding. What a great store to have in our community. Thanks Ace Hardware crew!
